Hello to everyone!!! This is my first post although I've been reading the board for a while. I don't know what i would do without USA network. I was thinking the other day about all the shows I watch and 5 of them are new on USA. (although i think Psych is my favorite)

You know your a psych fan when..... in honor of the third season premiere you ask your mom to buy chocolate, sliced pinnapple, and a whole pinnapple just to have with you. ( i really hope they buy them too)

both my parents gave me strange looks when I told them,hahaha
they just don't understand!!

You know you are a Psych fan when, You get your son, daughter, and 2 of their friends, ages 11 13 13 and 14 to sit still for hours watching the marathon. And I mean no texting, no MSN, and no fighting. Then, when the marathon is over they are upset because the new episode isn't on for 5 hours....LOL

Numbers 3 and 4 definitely apply to me.

I think i realized i became a Psych fan when i was watching Season 1 episodes, and forgot to eat my dinner, i was so entertained that i did not realize how time flew!!! One of my favourites 80s reference was the one in the Spelling Bee episode when Shawn said 'Ana Banana would like to hear Venus by Bananarama' hahaha very clever! I love the interaction beetween Shawn and Gus, i think they bring out the best from each other.

... when you finally convince your friend (who is a horrible speller) that it isn't spelled "phsych," because you've certainly told her enough.

... when you tear your prom dress shoulder strap in a "dazzle and stretch" gone wrong.

... when your best friend has to cancel very important plans, but buys you a pineapple to say she's sorry.

When your mom does daycare at your house and your watching some episodes on DVD and at the end of the episode every daycare kid in the room( 4 kids all under 10) start singing the theme song with you because you watch it so much in front of them that they learned it. true story that happened today.hahaha. Two of the kids I had already got into psych because I had to babysit them on a day that psych was having a marathon of the first half of the first season and i made them watch it but the other two only come over a couple days a week. The minute this happened I had to tell my mom. I couldn't stop laughing, hahaha

when you feel obligated to tell everyone around you about psych whenever you see a pineapple.

when you search everywhere to find a pineapple necklace ( i think i actually found one i'm going to buy! i'm so excited)

And then when we're at Red Robin, they play the song that was playing during He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, He Loves Me, Oops He's Dead. And then when we're looking at the menu, your grandma says what she's getting and it had pineapple in it.

...when your only watching the Olympics on USAnetwork to see if they play any Psych commercials.

Every time you have to make a 3 point (or more ) turn your kids say "Really Gus? An 11 point turn?"

Oh, and when you take your 3 kids (ages 11, 10 and 3) to Europe, the DVDs they choose for the airplane are the Psych Season 1 boxed set.

And as you sit in your gorgeous quaint hotel in Germany with a view of famous Neuschwanstein castle for 4 days, they spend every evening RE-WATCHING all of the episodes, instead of the castle, just cuz they can.

And when you travel by train from one country to the next, yep, you guessed it - Season 1 on the DVD player. Cuz we just can't watch it enough! Thank goodness they finally released Season 2!!!

That would be a great idea for en episode. Shawn orders a bedsheet with the Psych logo on it and tries to sell it to people (jules,lassie,henry, etc.) That would be hilarious!

THAT would be something to sell on USA Network for all of us! They should soo do that! I say they get all the characters heads on the sheet and then they have funny quotes from the show on it like: Gus, don't be a gooey chocolate chip cookie! or I will punch you in the knee! which i happen to say almost ALL the time now! haha! And you know when your a psych fan when you go to Wendy's, hear the song Shout by Tears for Fears from when Shawn and Gus performed on American Duos, and you start doing their routine with EVERYONE there watching you and your brother! Haha, that happened to me and my brother!

Oh my gosh, my 7 year old son said that to me once when my husband was driving and here I thought I was the only one. Hilarious.

You know that's right.

1. On a whim, you start making up silly names for your friends starting with a flower,beverage or Bible character, then combine it with a last name of a character off of a tv show in the 70's or 80's.
2. You start naming your body parts the "the Superwhatever" or "Octagon bodypart"!
3. You notice the same color green used on the Psych window everywhere you go.
4. You start trying to take a really cool picture with a pineapple to display on your myspace page.
5. You have an eye warm up routine 15 minutes before Psych so you are the first to spot the pineapples in your house.
6. You have all of a sudden developed a stigma against gooey chocolate chip cookies.
7. Lastly, you notice your grammar skills have gotten better but your facts about our Solar System are all screwed up.

On a cooking pretest, one of the questions is about thin wire utensil (a whisk) and you immediately think of the scene in Psych where Henry thinks it's a whisp and then realizes it's a whisk. I think it was a deleted scene? Or a blooper? From season one? Scary Sherry?

Yeah, it was a blooper!!! James says "it is a whisk and it is good"

You know you're a Psych fan when... you borrow the library's copy of "The Dukes of Hazzard" JUST to watch James Roday play Billy Prickett!!! THEN, you realize that the dude playing Sheriff Enos is the SAME guy that played Hornstock in "Cloudy, Chance of... Murder"!!!

You start making your friends play Mafia because you read in a recent interview that the cast plays.

Oh, and also, you brainstorm answers to forum threads and write them out in a notebook so you remember what to post later.
