ykyapf when in drama you're asked who ur favorite actor is and say "james roday" (or another psych actor/actress). so after gushing about them for 30 seconds you realize that noone in the room has any idea of who you're talking bout and get really sad.
ykyapf when right after u get sad, you suddenly get SUPER excited cuz the person sitting behind you knows who james roday is and is like "i love that show!" hahah

YKYAPFW (because you're an artist and because you're crazy about him) you attempt to draw a picture of James Roday and it ends up looking somewhat like him and you become super proud of yourself

YKYAPFW you're at a dinner party, and someone asks if you like the food, and you reply "Yeah, it's delicious". And then you ask them "are YOU a fan of delicious flavor?" And then you realize that they don't know what you're referencing when they give you a funny look.

YKYAPFW you work "boom, boom, boom...... muffins" into a conversation.

YKYAPFW it's 2:45am and you contemplate watching the new episode you have on your DVR and still haven't seen yet, even though you have to get up early with your kid and then go to work... plus you have homework to do.

know the feeling when I talk about James people give me that look like I just make up actor named james roday my mum told me to stop embarassing myself and to stop talking about Psych and James because it's so unpopular show and nobody watches it and to find something that normal people watch

YKYAPF when today in Math class I got really bored and we were working in pairs. I started complaining because I don't like my teacher and she gave us a bunch of homework. So I decided to tell my friend that the Three Hole Punch(which happens to be located on a table directly in front of me) made it easier to get through the class. She just looked at me funny so I started telling her the entire story behind the Three Hole Punch joke even though she isn't a Psych fan at all(but she knows about The Mentalist ). She just laughed at me because she didn't see how it was funny but was laughing at the fact that I thought it was funny. Then I started asking her if "Three Hole Punch" was funnier than "Three Hole Puncher". She just looked at me like I was crazy but I get that look all the time from my friends. Anyway, i think she's going to start saying Three Hole Punch randomly just to make me laugh. It made the Math class go by a lot quicker

That kinda happened to me today. In Spanish class we were reviewing how you say what time it is and the teacher asked me what time my favorite show was at. I replied that it was on at 9 at night and then she asked me which show and I answered Psych, but no one knew what show I was talking about, so I felt depressed.

It's just an in-joke on set because (I can't remember who) they couldn't decide what was funnier "Three hole punch" or "three hole puncher" and it just became a...thing.

One of my teachers said "three hole punch" today too, and I just started laughing. Everyone else looked at me funny. hah.

YKYAPFW you're going over the skeletal system during a physical anthropology lab and, when you come across the coccyx, you start talking about Gus falling on his butt and complaining about his coccyx... and then someone else says "Oh my god, that episode was great! And then Shawn was all like 'that's so not appropriate, dude' and Gus was like 'That's what it's called, Shawn!'"

YKYAPFW you've told your friend about "boom boom boom... muffins", so when she takes brownies out of the oven, you two look at each other and then sing "boom boom boom... brownies!" in unison.

YKYAPFW you consider trying pineapple again, even though you've already tasted it and you hated it, because you feel like you'd be a bad Psych fan if you didn't give it another chance.

When you can't stop laughing all day because you see like, six three-hole-punchers, and you sit by one in every class.

It's crazy. In choir, there is a three-hole-puncher right in front of me, and I stare at it every day and laugh. My teacher thinks I'm crazy. Then there's one right next to me in math and science and english too. And I saw one in the library today, and also in the office.

It's like they're following me. XD

Then his brother signs on to AIM, you don't tell him that you just talked to his brother and the cousin that just signed onto AIM starts to tell you about the dog and you say the following:"I'm getting a psychic vision *puts finger to head a la Shawn Spencer* I can see it clearly now....he's doing well!!!!!!" That's a true story that just happend just before I typed this!!!

And YKYAPFW you start crocheting a Psych tote bag (I might've mentioned this before;I don't really remember).

We have this Health project where you have to create a fictional person and then have them start taking a drug and explain what happens to them because of it. I'm partnered with one of my friends who watches Monk and Psych. So we named our person Shawn and said he had a best friend named Gus and a girlfriend named Juliet. We were in the computer lab as we were creating the story so he started looking up "Shawn Psych" on google images (although he originally typed "Shaun Psyche" so I had to keep on correcting him) and started pointing to random pictures and having me say the episode title. There was only one picture I wasn't sure about so i'd say that's pretty good Although the picture was Lassie at his desk so it was pretty general because he practically wears the same outfit every episode so I couldn't tell. It was fun!

when like me you stay up all night watching the same 3rd season 1 disc over and over , and never get bored of it !!!

When... your friend is channel surfing and then you freak out, telling them to go back 2 channels. When they go back to the channel you wanted, you start giggling uncontrollably because Corbin Bernsen is on a random mid-day cooking show, and he's just finished mixing raspberries into bowl full of some sort of cream, and he looks SO damn domestic and adorable. Your friend has NO CLUE why you're spazzing out.

When... your friend mentions that her husband doesn't want to go to his 20th high school reunion, and you mention that Shawn wasn't really enthused about going to his high school reunion either, but he went and ended up solving a murder! She then asks "who's Shawn?" and you proceed to explain the episode to her in detail. Your friend still has no idea why you're such a spaz.

When... you almost start crying because "Good Day (Morning Song)" starts playing on iTunes and you suddenly feel very very sad for Lassie.

YKYAPFW you plan your Friday outfits not around school spirit but around the theme of that night's Psych episode.

Last week I wore a jersey-style shirt and carried around a pen shaped like a tiny baseball bat before "Shawn Has the Yips."
Today I wore all my Indian jewelry and worked the rest of my outfit around my accessories for "Bollywood Homicide."

YKYAPFW you rent a horror movie (when you hate horror movies) to watch in preparation for an episode, and/or go to the store and buy episode-appropriate props to have on hand while you watch.

I had Western-style guns w/ holster and handcuffs from Walmart sitting next to me during "High Noon-ish," and before "The Devil is in the Details..." I bought garlic hummus and the latest TV Guide. (Gave the Diet Coke to my mom. )

YKTYAPF when you purchase a new moblie phone and the first thing you do is up load the psych theme as your ring tone and the spanish version for text messages

YKYAPFW you can listen to the theme song in virtually any language and be able to translate it into English and you don't konw a word of the other langauge. I did this tonight during the Bollywood episode and the first time when I saw "Lights, Camera, Homicido" and I don't know a word in either Indian or Spanish!!!!

When you psych out all your friends and sit back anbd watch them wonder how you did it. lol
When you can figure out who did it and how 5 mintues in to the episode.
when you walk thorugh the store and start laughing uncotrolably cause you remember a pysch out you watched the night before.
When your 3 year old sister can sing the whole theme song word for word.
When you see a pinnapple and remember where it was i the last episode.
When you watch a movie just because James Roday or Dulé Hill are in it.

-you buy Psych season 1 on DVD to give to your friend for her birthday because you want to get her hooked on Psych.

-plan on making (yet another) t-shirt that has the Psych logo on the front and the time, day of the week, and TV channel that the show is on on the back, along with the words "WATCH IT." to help promote the show (it's still a work in progress )

-in your computer art class you have to draw a picture of yourself using Adobe Illustrator but when you don't have a picture of yourself, you use the cutest picture you can find of James Roday as a backup until you get one of yourself. (I got to stare at his face for a whole hour *sighs*)

YKYAPFW you're playing the "20 Q" TV version and they ask you to think of a TV show and you think of "Psych" because the ball that they have you hold is green!!!! And you outsmart the game!!!!!

well, it was in lab and we were measuring the conductivity of different mediums, and when we got to water and realized how strong it was my lab partner made a comment about how much it would suck to be electrocuted in the bathtub i could not stop laughing and both she and the TA were standing there looking at each other like "oh god, she's cracked!" lol

That happened when I was talking to my friend about my cousin Ryan who taught me how to play cribbage and I added that it wasn't strip cribbage, though. She looked at me like I was crazy.

Dude, did you know that if you stare at someone's elbow while you high five them you'll always hit their hand but if you look directly at their hand, you'll miss? My friend taught me that and my dad didn't believe it until I tried it with him.
