When you've been feeling blue, you turn to "Psychtherapy" to make you smile, since there's no way to keep a straight face for more than a couple of minutes when watching Shawn and Gus bein' their crazy-fool selves!

You know you're a Psych fan when you see a grand piano (or anything that reminds you of a piano) and all you can think of is the "Ebony and Ivory" commercial they used for the previews a few years ago!!!!!

-you spend half the day of the Season 4 premiere running around the house doing precisely nothing except blabbering about how excited you are. Then, you're so anxious for Psych to start that you actually start writing Psych fanfiction for the first time ever and write a story based off of a crazy dream you had. Then you have no idea what to do, because your DVD player won't work and you can't rewatch any episodes.

The fourth one is random, but I just watched the first episode on season three. "Ghost" and one of my favorite lines is shawns reply to the question: "What's your game, Spencer?"
"I have two games, and they are red rover and lawn darts."

YKYAPFW when you have psychic ability my little niece came to visit me and she asks me: "Do you know where have I been" and I was about to answer I don't know but then I saw that her shoes are still wet inside and I said let me guess you were at swimming pool and I was so right

YKYAPFW a 10 year old family friend(whom you converted to Psych) comes up to you and asks "Did you tape High Noon(ish)?" and you immediatly high five her and are very proud because she refered to the episode by it's name!!! I usually have to explain what I'm talking about in front of other people or say "the Psych episode with..." because other people don't know them by name. I was so proud

sorry to double post but I thought of another one. YKYAPFW you realize there is someone new on the board because as you scrolled down the page you didn't recognize the signature. And I was right

3 hours before episode High noon (ish) I was playing poker with my two little brothers but real poker was too complicade so we decided to play like who has better pair of cards and then was this conversation on psych I was laughing so hard

Lassiter: What the hell is going on here?
Shawn: This is called 19-card stud.
Gus: Regular poker is to complicated, makes it easier to get pairs.
Shawn: Anything with a picture is wild

-when your roomie asks you why you are being such a gloomy gus and you laugh so hard it completely snaps you out of your bad mood
-when you are frustrated that your brand new wireless internet router isnt working so you call your mom to vent and she just tells you to go eat some ice cream and watch psych
-when your people start buying pineapples things for your birthday (coasters, potholders, candles- one that smells like them and one just shaped that unfortunately doesn't smell at all)
-when you and your bff get really wierded out b/c she has a sis named jules and bro named spencer
-when your go-to casual shoes are flip-flops w/ pineapples on the straps

As if this wasn't enough, before she left the same day, I decided to tell her that the episode on Friday is going to be a scary one(becuse It's kind of hard to tell from the previews) and she says "you mean The Devil is in the Details?". Once again I couldn't believe it!! Yeah I know she didn't say the whole name but I gave her the benefit of the doubt.It was even more impressive because it's an episode that hasn't aired yet. I high fived her again and started telling everyone else in the room. I was even more proud

- have the definition of "banana" on it according to Shawn

- have a picture of a light switch with the words "Jackal Switch" printed underneath

- have a list of all the "Gus, don't be a..." phrases

- says you're a fan of delicious flavor and has a pineapple on the back

I might actually make those, seeing as I'm that much of a Psych fan! My brother even said that to freak other people out, on the back of the "Jackal Switch" one I should put a picture of Gus after Shawn "flips the switch".

When you watch the same episode 4 time between Thursday to Saturday (I'm from Israel and between Thursday to Saturday they ran the same episode in a diffrent time, so I usually watch the same episode for 4 time).

When you watch the episod on the DVD twice - 1- without the commentary 2- with the commentary

When you spend a lot of time on the net look for psych picture/news/interviews/stuff

When immediately after a new episod over, you log on to this site, to see a clip from the next week apisod (it's also for the one that can't watch the usa network, because they not from USA... ).

When you see a pineapple you yell "I found the pineapple"

When you refer to Psych as an obsession of choose.

When you got an accont on the Usa Forum just so you can talk about psych.

When you almost cry because you are takeing two vactions in a row that are over fridays.

When you like people more once you find out they also love Psych.

Psych is amazing.

When you watch the first three seasons and first three episodes of Psych for the first time in three days.

I watched all of season 3 in three days, but that was because I was trying to pace myself.

It didn't work, btw.

lol. If I had infinite food so I didn't need to make myself any, and I didn't need any sleep, I would definitely have a flat-out Psych marathon.

Wait. I'm gonna have to do the math here (expect mistakes).

1 eppy = about 43 minutes

1 season = 16 eppies

3 seasons x 16 eppies = 48 eppies

48 eppies x 43 min per eppie = 2,064 minutes = 34.4 hours + 1 hour for bathroom breaks, switching DVDs, etc. = 35.4 hours

A flat-out Psych marathon might be possible. (Not including the 4 new eppies of season 4, though.)

That is, if you're able to go for hours without sleep and somehow manage to stay awake the whole time

I'd only expect fifteen minutes for bathroom breaks.

Staying awake is usually not a problem for me. We should set a weekend in which we can all try to pull off a Psych marathon.
