I love the comcast cable box we have, we can record on it! It's great, after a night out with friends, I can come home to Psych!

Loved the ending and the whole episode. Lassiter is becoming a nice guy.

Hi Bubba here, overall I really enjoyed the episode. I haven't had a chance to watch Psych much lately.

Psych is awesome! I thought I had the killer this time before Shawn did... but I was wrong, and I was proud too because I thought I had it! Either way, it was very comfortable, just lying on the couch watching my fav. show... great way to end a Friday!

I really liked this episode! To me it was the best episode since Psych came back from it's break. The other episodes have been a little weird lately to me. They seemed a little like the writers were trying too hard to make us laugh, like they were running out of funny things so they just threw something out that was rediculous (again, my opinion).

I'm actually really looking forward to watching tonights re-run. Still no really funny catch phrases, but really funny episode. I also liked the story line, too. I really wish that I could download some of the episodes on my computer, I can with some other shows, oh well.

Shawn got into an accident with his motercycle? Shawn hadn't talked to his dad for a while, so that must have been a long time ago. At least we know no one tried to run him off the road that time smile.gif

Anyway, I thought that it was great. I hope that the writers are going back to the same great Psych that we fell in love with, lol.

He was run off the road in the speelingg bee episode I believe with a white van. I've missed this week's episode because of parents (mother-in-law on Friday and Dad calling in the middle of tonight's rerun) My question is about the about Dulé's beautiful wife being in this epi. Was she the guilty one or was she in the last episode? granted I missed most of it, but I'll catch it eventually. (I usually watch Pysch three times a week and I feel bad that after two showings I've only seen 1/2.)

Dulé's wife was in the "From The Earth to Starbucks" episode my dear. Shawn suspected she was the killer in that one not this one. Anyway, I would have to agree with everything silly slicker said and I too feel like this was a better hilarious eppy, although I wasn't really feeling the psych-out.

Of course, the planetarium epi. Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue. It should have been much earlier so I don't have to re-watch each episode 3 times a week. I guess the thread I read on this message board on the subject was a week old. didn't pay attention to the dates...

still loving the show. ok I need to go to hobby lobby for uh.. nevermind.

I have been a fan of Psych since the show debuted, but I was starting to notice a trend of general silliness and repetitiveness. The past few shows have shown a new depth to the characters of Shawn, Lassiter, and (sorry, forgetting Corbin Bernstein's character name) Shawn's dad. Instead of Shawn catching everything right away and making everyone else look like the goofy sidekick, Gus is now catching some things that Shawn is missing. Instead of always getting the girl, Shawn is willing to step back (and even sabotage himself) and let Gus go at it. The relationship between Shawn and his dad is starting to become something interesting in itself, and the interaction and love/hate relationship between Shawn and "Lassie" is excellent.

The obligatory silliness is still in there (I nearly fell over when the judge was pointing at the attorney with a stalk of asparagus) and helps make the show what it is. The extra dimensions that are being added to both the characters and to the plots are going to be what keeps this show around for several years (I hope).

Anyway, this past show, in my opinion, has been the best thusfar, but they have been getting better and better with each new show this season. Kudos to the writers!

Now, can we please keep the "Psych-Outs" to just Roday and Hill? smile.gif

Shawn's dad is Henry- Im pretty sure, I could be wrong but Im pretty sure its Henry.
Anyways, the asparagus bit ,made me nearly fall over too! Its so funny how Shawn is so quick with jokes. This was one of the best/funniest episodes yet! The funniest one is hard to determind...They are all hilarious!

Best part about this ep: No Shawn/Jules love angle... thank goodness!

Next best thing: The mini fist bump in the courtroom between Gus & Shawn.

Worst thing: Plot was weak.

I prefer Lassie as an antagonist. But a "nice guy" show every once in a while is ok, I guess. As long as the writers don't make a habit out of it! wink.gif

I miss the Chief, too. sad.gif

agreed. Shows have the habit of playing on cheesy romances to increase ratings but it usually just hurts. It's a comedy/crime show...lets leave the sappy crap for drama and soaps eh?

Every show that has both male and female characters that aren't hooking up evokes all these undersexed people on the internet to fantasize about it. I guess that is what fanfiction is for eh? Take The Office...one of the cleverest and funniest shows with the most defined characters yet 85% of the fanfiction for it is cheesy romance crap that sounds like it was written in a diary with a pink pen. no offense smile.gif

tension is good. tension opens doors to new jokes. romance produces much less comedy.
