Me on the other hand, I would have stroked his hair and rubbed his strong shoulders.....mmmm
Not to beleager(?) the point, but, if I were her and I hadn't seen him do that before, I might say something along the lines of "Bobby, are you ok?". Of course a little back massage might have gone a long way too (if it were me)!!

Would you rather awake from sedation and see your sisters and brothers or Bobby Goren staring you in the face??
Maybe they'll start having tragedy in Eames' family in season 7 after no one is left in Bobby's family!

I don't think they'll kill him off but I don't think he'll be sticking around after mommy dies. On the other hand, Goren needs some sort of conflict in his life so who knows. I only hope Tony Goldwyn won't be sticking around for more than 1 ep.

Nicely shaven armpits and a tank top to show how buff she was. Plus the SHOES! Anyone care to comment about that?
The shoes! So are they saying she wears those things to work every day? Because unless she found a moment somewhere to take off some sensible shoes and switch to those (although then we get into why, why would she bother to swap shoes at 3am just to drive home?), she must have been wearing them at work. Jo kidnapped her right after she walked in the door, in what she had on at work.

So I taped Blind Spot last night and ended up taping over the beginning of Siren Call. Now, instead of missing a few seconds of BS, I'm missing the entire opening scene of SC. There are 6 eps on this tape and I see a domino effect occurring. It's gonna take years to get this fixed. I'm gonna need years of therapy to help me get through it. Thanks bg, for reminding me.

That does suck though. I would need therapy too. That is why I don't bother taping the later episodes. It would surely send me into a downward spiral of OCD-ness that I would most likely never recover from!
Here's my idea, since I feel responsible for the domino effect. Next time Siren Call is on, tape it while you are watching it, like just by hitting the record button, not setting the timer. Then stop taping through a couple of commercial breaks and that should cut out enough time to get your tape back on track. Just don't forget to start taping again after the commercial is over!!!

Would you be able to deal w/ one tape being different from the others, sacrifice it, and be able to tape blind spot, or would it bother you so much that you'd just have to deal w/ what you have? see, me, i'd have to deal, cause if i have like however many video's the same, and ONE out of place, i would go bonkers! it would get to me until i did somethiing about it. GF, if you're overcome with OCD, the only other alternative to the taping mistake would be to re-tape ALL the episodes again in order, with or without commercials to have them all EXACTLY the same. Which seems like a lot of time and trouble imo, having to wait for all the epis to get rerun again in order. And besides, what guarantee is there you'll get all the episodes without making another mistake?
What to do...well, as someone else suggested, record SC again w/o commercials to fit over the old recording. The tape won't be perfect, but at least you'll have all the epis. Then you could try again the next time all the epis air if you REALLY want everything to be perfect and match.

I think it all depends on when Feeling Minn. airs. OK. I just checked the TBS sched. It airs 1215 tues night/wed morning. (I only say this because sometimes the sched means wed night). Oh forget it. It's 5:40 in the morning and I have no clue what I'm saying. But I know it's a good thing and I'll be able to tape Siren Call. And Bedfellows is on tonight so I can maybe move that over a bit. Oh no GF, I wasn't trying to kill you, I was just trying to help!
The point I was making is, sometimes when we try to get things perfect, it doesn't turn out the way we hoped it would. As a tactic to recoup what you lost, maybe go ahead and record "Siren Call" without commercials over your old recording so you'll at least have all the epis intact. Then, at a later date when all the epis air again, you could try to record them all exactly the same. If it doesn't work out, you'll still have your "imperfect" tape with all the epis.

Thanks! I think I've got it. I'm retaping Bedfellows tonight and Siren Call Wed. When this is done, only Masquerade may be taped over. Since I never plan to watch Masquerade again, I can live with it. Geez, I wish they would come out with the DVD's sooner. It would save a lot of pain.
BTW, Dateline aired the Kissel Brothers story tonight which was the "ripped from the headlines" story for Bedfellows. The original was a lot more interesting but Bedfellows had a good twist.

I forgot to post this earlier, but I have kind of a cute story about this episode.
So I've kind of gotten my mom hooked on CI (not as much as us, but nobody's perfect, right?) and I always tell her when there is going to be an episode on that I think she'll like...and we always watch my DVDs when we get a chance to see each other. Anyway, I had her tape Blind Spot when it was on last week cause I knew she'd like it. After she finally got a chance to watch it, she called me and I quote, "That was the best hour of television I think I have ever watched in my life. I felt like I was watching a movie. Eames was awesome, Goren was awesome. Thank you so much for telling me about this show and having me tape that one." I just thought it was cute that she said that. Also, my mom is someone who LITERALLY has four VCRs going at the same time to tape stuff because she watches 75% of the shows on TV. So for her to say that is really impressive!!

I probably wouldn't know how to start a thread if I wanted to. I have been looking all through this thread for mention of Eames apartment. I know I saw it somewhere and I want to comment on it. So please, please forgive me if this is the wrong thread. There was an epi and I don't know which one or even the season, where Bobby and Eames were talking about an elevator. Eames said "it's better than the one in my building. Smells better, too". So I always took it she lived in an apartment building. Then when Blind Spot aired and they rushed into her house, you could tell she was on the ground floor in a house. Just wondering if this was contradictory, or quite possibly she moved. sorry GF i'm trying hard no more for tonight!
No, Olivia Fan, you still retain your title! I am a Bobby fan through and through. Hence, Lauren Goren. Wouldn't they be a nice couple; Bobby and Lauren Goren??!!!!!!!
It might be an earlier epi when Eames was more sarcastic. I think I've only seen it once but it stuck with me.

QUOTE (laurengoren @ Feb 27 2007, 08:34 PM)

Anyone remember the elevetor that I'm talking about?
There is no Eames apartment thread, but it's easy to start one if you'd like. Just go to "post new topic" on top right of board.
BTW, that's a great catch. I can see her saying it. She and Goren were standing in the street at the time. But I can't think of the eppy.

I can't for the life of me think of what ep the elevator might be in. The only evevator ep I can remember is Great Barrier, but that wouldn't be it because I think they were talking about something else then......now I'm confusing myself. Oh well, what's new.
