Meg Darlin you were robbed and someone needs to call 911.
You looked like a million bucks tonight BTW!
Keep your chin up girl!

LOL well said... I voted for you, I think you are great and not just some same-o stamped-out-of-a-mold girl singer. (Ummmm, the name of this thread sums that up.)

Don't change to please anyone. Your shyness and the tenderness in your voice are a refreshing change from the "I Am Woman Hear Me Roar" crowd.

I saved "Once in a Blue Moon" on my TiVo to listen to it over and over a million times and right after that is you singing "Atlanta" and you know what, that song is stuck in my head.

I am glad you are a real person, a real beauty, a real talent, I will buy your CD... Love ya !!

I'm almost glad that Directv went out tonight.  I didn't see that you were voted off.  Personally, I think you have a great
talent.  I'll be on the look out for your CD.  I need to read a little more at your message board to find out where to get it.  While everyone on NS has their own individual style, I think that despite what the judges said, you stuck to your original style.  Kinda folksy country and it was great.  Good luck to you in the future, but I'm sure you won't need luck.  You've got it.

I have Directv too. It will break my heart to see the end of it knowing what is gonna happen.

Stay strong Meg you are a unique breath of fresh country air

PS OMG Meg just read your previous post, you SOOOO don't look like pasta !
GF you've got it all, just be confident, you look amazing!

Meg -- imho, you are MUCH prettier than Whitney, who KNOWS she is pretty, and knows that everyone knows she is pretty. AND, you can sing, and sing very well! Please don't quit! I can tell that you believe in what you are doing, and love what you are doing! Keep stretching yourself and enjoying yourself and you'll go far!

I feel I need to say this... I've become one of Meg's biggest fans over the past month... I met her after the shows and she is the sweetest person... her voice is amazing and I love her songs... I got on the Meg bandwagon and I'm staying...

however... please don't turn her board into a bash-Whitney session. I have spoken with Whitney and she is also sweet. Don't allow your frustration at seeing Meg leave the show allow you to get angry with Whitney. I spoke with her and Tim after the show and they were both sad to see Meg go. Whitney and Meg were roommates the last couple weeks, and it would not be fair to Whitney for you to take your frustration out on her.

George, I am Meg's family, and I want to thank you for your support...she loved meeting you and you've been great groupie! I know you'll follow her career and music and we just love Megamaniacs!

Can't wait for the next chapter and to see Meg in front of her "own" audiences again, in control of her own mic and shows. Living in Nashville, you'll see her for sure...get on her email list!

Thanks again, and spread the word. Whit should win, she's who Warner wants. Meg loves her!

We'll wait and see, but that's my 2 cents!

I should add that my comment about Warner is just an intuitive sense, based on no inside baseball.....I don't want to rev up the conspiracy again! If I were A & R she or Josh would be my pick now that Meg's off!

Meg:

I know you will have a top ten within the next two years. You have the real talent we want in Nashville, not the cut out copies they seem to be promoting.

Meg, I was unable to see the last part of the show, because of a DIRECT TV problem, but admin said we should be able re-view at 9 am Saturday.

You have gotten many kind remarks on the main NS board for your grace and humility. I want to add that you looked BEAUTIFUL last night.

Good luck in the future!

Meg, all I can say is, YOU GO, GIRL! From the very first episode when I heard you sing "Walkin' After Midnight" I knew you were someone special. Plus, you give all us girl singers from up north hope! Keep on singing, don't let anything, and especially something like this, stand in your way!

I am not quite as strong about Whitney - she can sing, and in a couple of years she could be quite good, and she is VERY cute. But, Meg, you can eat her alive musically (and you are pretty cute too!!), you remind me a little of the stylings of Nancy Griffith, which is a very good thing. Your style is more Americana, like Jewel's, than staight coutnry, and that is why I think you didn't get as many votes. But, you are really talented, and deserve an record deal right now. Here's hoping we start hearing about you in the near future!!!

Hey you were so much better than Whitney last week. I think it should have been you and Angela in the final two on the stage and they should have voted her off. I have liked you since the show started. You definatly brought it the whole time you were on the show I thought.

Meg, I just bought "Take me down" off iTunes. It's INCREDIBLE. I think I've listened to it about 60 times tonight. You should great.

ALSO, for those of you that don't know - Meg's CD is on iTunes. Go get it! (You can also get it off CDbaby or her website www.megallison.com -- she posted that info in another thread)

GOOD LUCK MEG! WE LOVE YOU!
