I agree. I ordered my copy last week and have been spinning it ever since. Thanks to NS, I have purchased CD's from Jody Evans, Jared Ashley, and now Meg Allison. But I haven't purchased one from the "winners."

Several years ago there were two guys touring the Carolinas and Nashville (worked with Mike Clute) named Curnutte and Maher. Those guys were awesome. They sold a song called "Nickajack" that was recorded by a now defunct band named River Road. It was the band's only hit. I said for years that C and M should have gotten a record deal on their own.

There's nothing more satisfying than finding an artist you really love and buying a CD to support them before the marketing machine tells you it's good.

I, too, bought Missing Piece off of Amazon, and I love it.
