Well, it's been (ahem wink.gif ) a VERY long time since I've been to one of those, but we called them Open Houses, or Parent-teacher conferences. The open house was where parents were allowed to come to the school and visit each of the classrooms. A parent-teacher conference was ususally just the parent and teacher talking after school. I never had nightmares, but occasionally, I would get into trouble after a parent-teacher conference or Open House if my mom or dad heard something from the teacher that they didn't like!

Just relax and make sure both your parents and teacher realize that you are doing the best you can. If they feel that you need extra help, I'm sure they will be more than willing to get it for you. I think you'll be fine, though.

I'm glad you didn't get any bad reports. smile.gif We get out at 1:00 next week for parent-teacher conferences, but they're optional. I've got A's in everything except Pre-Calc and Japanese. I got a B in Japanese last grading period, but I think I've brought that up by now, and I'm not doing so great in Pre-Calc.....I'm trying though. It just seems useless to me. I used to dread parent-teacher conferences though. My parents don't go anymore, but when I was younger I would freak out even if I had good grades.

That's wonderful! I knew things would go well! I do understand why you were nervous, though! Glad to hear that your parents are proud of you!

I remember when my brother was in highschool and I had to go to one of those things (I'm only 7 years older than my bro). I'd be standing in line in the hallway thinking to my self what I would say (Hi I'm blah blah's brother, how is my bro doing in class) and what the teacher would be thinking in their mind of me being there for parent'sa evening.
