All you have to do is tell us why your beauty and confidence now makes you happier and more comfortable in your 40's than you were in your 30s or 20s.

5 Grand Prize winners will receive:

-An all-expenses paid trip to Hollywood
-A fashion and beauty makeover

Starting February 7th, entries will be accepted at this link:

Why is the contest limited to women in heir 40's? Having just turned 50 and having lived the starter wife scenario, I can say that, indeed, my life is now better than ever- a place it has taken a while to get to.

Quetion: Can a person be a widow (age 44) and still be eligable?

I've been widowed since 1992 (I was young and weak... didn't know who I was). There has been a huge amount of learning regarding 'who' I am not only to me, but to my children, and the community as well since then; this could be intersting.

I have since 'divorced' my former mother-in-law, secured my children against her intrusions, and will finish my first bachelor's degree this fall. I had been previously delayed, but I am now finally realizing my potential, and am on track for a long and exciting road. I am finally seeing 'actualization' of the 'who' I thought I could become....

Do I qualify?

Yes, you are still eligible.

I've read the rules and regulations for the contest and they are pretty clear I guess I'm just confused. When I download my pics from my digital camera to my computer I check the properties to make sure that the size is acceptable, there are three dates recorded. They are date created, modified and accessed. The modified and accessed dates are actually when I downloaded the pics, but I didn't download them on the same day that I took them. Can someone please explain to me how this is going to affect my entry since the rules state that the pics can not be modified in any way.

This is a VERY good question. In fact, I'm waiting for someone to answer this before I send mine too. However, I beleive the 'modification' refers more to alter your image with any other program. since they have limitations o nthe size, most likely all the netries submitted will be modified i nthis sense - SIZE. I cannot do it any other way.

I don't believe the resizing would be considered a modification. However, The Starter Wife contest is actually run by a third-party company (SoftCoin). I suggest using the “help” link at the bottom of the contest entry page to contact them. The link below should take you there directly:

Do you have to be divorced? I am divorced but I did not state that in my essay when I entered the contest. I just stated why I feel sexier and happier in my forties. Is this acceptable?

Don't worry, being divorced is not a requirement.
