A friend of mine lives in Moncton and occasionally watches CI (she's more an SVU fan), but she never gives me any actual spoilers. She'll just IM me and say nah nah I saw CI and you have to wait until tomorrow.

Dialogue-wise, the preview makes it seem more Eames-centric. And Goren's just there to point out where you'd have to be to take the shot that killed the dude (the dude who hopefully wasn't wearing Civil War-era corsets (sp!) like the guy killed in a duel in CSI. That episode sucked).

What can i say except i rock!

I'm picturing a comatose Goren walking around in a daze, pointing to stuff, and babbling about this sniper while Eames battles deep inner turmoil with much angst. Perhaps I should lay off reading the fan fiction for a while. It's just that some of it is so badly written and the amusement factor is through the roof.

Finally I just have to say the preview might be different then the one you get on NBC because sometimes they have different ones like for the svu episode fault and for Privlage their was a different one.

It's true some fanfiction is not that great but others are pretty good.

That sounds like Goren's role in most of season 5. BTW, the Hamilton/Burr duel took place well before the civil war. Hate to nitpick, but history is history. Where are all the school children today??

I didn't mention the fact that I'm warm-blooded. I'de go out in short sleeves if the temp was 20 degrees farinheit.......except for the fact that I got a Duke sweatshirt for Christmas so I have to wear that everywhere I go! It's chilly here, but it's no where near 35. It's pretty warm considering it's the coldest month of the year here. Wonder if we'll get any snow....we didn't get any last year.

Just watched it...can't wait. And from what I could see of the quick camera shots, Goren is looking a lot less tired and disheveled than in Privilege. Glad to see it was probably just a temporary thing...even though we all love him no matter what!

I love reading history books, but I've taken very few history classes in school that were actually interesting. I had one very basic, low-level 101 type thing in college that was awesome in the first half of the semester. We read Plato, Dante, and some other stuff, but once midterms rolled around everything went down the tubes. The professor graded our exams and found out that half the class were idiots, so he dumbed down the lectures for the rest of the semester.

We don't really have any snow (some of the half an inch from yesterday is still around, but that's not really even worth mentioning) where I am, but it's cold.

Why where are you from? and how cold is it?!

I can sympathize with you, Oliviafan. I'm in Michigan, so other than Fabi, I probably have the next suckiest weather to deal with. I'm usually a permanent crab from December-March because of the cold. I want to go visit yankeesfan or gorenfan!

Speaking of Gorenfan in Florida. In another thread she mentioned feeling old...she should move to Naples Fl in my parents development. The average age is about 75 and there is an ambulance there almost daily...isnt shark the medic? You would be quite busy.
Anyway, my kids and I are counting down the days till we go.

Most of Fl has an average age of 75. Even where I live, we get the "snowbirds" all winter who up the senior citizen pool. I'm the Medical Assistant. I deal with a lot of it. I really don't mind because I relate to older people alot better than kids.

Yea, my parents stay down all winter. They used to come up for the holidays but they always got sick going back and forth. One year my mom got pleuracy (SP?)

I don't know if you caught one of my previous posts where I said it was 36 degrees here Tuesday night. Last night it warmed up to 42 but it was nice this afternoon. Heat at night, airconditioning during the day. It's lunacy. If they're near central or north Fl, they're cold.

See this is a real problem because i don't know how to convert F into C. And of course all my temps are in C. The only one i do know is 20C is 70F cause that is how warm we keep my house but it changes for every temp. is it something like add 30 divide by 2? or is it subtract 30 and multiply by 2? awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawww soooooooooooooooo confused!!!!!!
