Whitney-

Just to start, congratulations on making it this far, it takes a lot of courage to even attempt something like this and to get as far as you have is quite an accomplisment. I usually don't participate in forums like this, but I've known you, well since birth basically, as well as your brother and parents and after reading some of the messages here I just couldn't hold back.
I have seen how hard you have worked and see the great support you have from your family and everyone here at home. I know there is a lot of stress, anxiety and pressure in the entertainment idustry, and it's really magnified 10 fold in front of national t.v. audiences, naturally, and I can't imagine how your adrenaline and nerves must have been off the charts by the time you had to sing that song, which by the way for all of you "vocal critics/experts",is not the easiest song to sing. I think all things considered you did a good job.
I'm pushed for time, but would like to share some thoughts with you that has helped me in tough times................

-There are always going to be people in life that are miserable for whatever reason. They are going to try to get you down to their level because the old saying is true, "misery loves company". I have always found motivation that I wasn't sure that I had, from someone telling me, "you can't", for any reason, and I'm a nobody. People like Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, and many other very successful people, fueled their fire from their toughest critics cynical views or opinions about them. If you believe in yourself, have faith in god's plans, and never give up regardless of what happens on this show, your going to capture all of your dreams. I don't live at "the hill" anymore, but go home when I can, and boy do I miss it, I'm proud of ya, and look forward to seeing on NS next week, and the weeks to come as well.
