The baseball season is still early so I'm not going to panic about the Mets being swept by the Braves. I'm going to chalk up our poor play to bad weather.

does any one else play fantasy baseball on mlb.com i (after taking a few years off) started back this year. won my first week... YEAH!!! next week will be a hard one for me to win though, the guy im up aganist picked some good players. we shall see. so if you did... who did you draft for your team???

I played on MLB.com a couple years ago. I finished first there, but I didn't like how it was run. If you haven't tried already, you should take a look at Yahoo!'s version. There's a lot more different settings for scoring, roster spaces, etc. I really like it there more.

It did look like they quit....I don't know why they didn't foul at the end of regulation...I would have...being up 3 and they only get 2 shots if they are fouled...no chance to win...but who knows...congrats to Kansas

I just got home from karate and it is half-time and the Lady Vols are winning...I smell #8...

Also, The Red Sox won and the Yankees lost...so it was a good day... (sorry yankeesfan...)

Whats up with the Yankees...they seem to be showing signs of age..Posada has a "dead arm" and Jeter is also hurt...I hope they are ok ..I want the Red Sox to beat them with their entire team on the field...

no kidding, i want to see a heck of a game, still ending in a Red Sox victory of corse. but its not as much fun when both teams are not battling it out until the end.

I agree ... the baseball season wouldn't be the same if the Yankees and the Red Sox wouldn't battle for the title...but beware of the Toronto Blue Jays..

Candace Parker was the first draft pick for the WNBA yesterday. All five Lady Vols starting were drafted yesterday. 2 of them will be teammates; Candace Parker and Shannon Bobbitt.

It was a good race. I am watching Jr's interview, he is so dissapointed. It was a good points day though. I hate fuel milage races. I can't stress that enough. I hate fuel milage races. They have an off next week then off to Taladega. Jr is now 3rd in the points.

hokies are definatly apart of my life, my bf's brother and his gf both graduated from tech. it is sad what happened but comforting to see so many remember the victims. thanks to all who support Hokie nation

i am very happy with my Braves and their winning streak that they are on, so its not a lot of games but hey, Chipper is ruling the place. sucks he is injured though, hopefully he will be back up and running soon. any who, my Red Sox are winning too so that makes my fantasy league awesome. i have yet to lose a game *knock on wood*. i have some great players on my team, they are doing great for me!!!!

Way to go. I just hope the Astros give us some good games to enjoy this summer. We're going to see them in Pittsburgh and DC during our vacation. We love baseball and can't wait to visit other MLB parks.
