Let me get this straight. Tonight, Bravo is airing 4 CI eps. 3 are Logan/Barek and 1 is Goren/Eames? Are they kidding or something??

I thought the past couple of weeks have been bad enough. USA has cut the amount of CI eps they air and those that have been on are mostly Logan eps. This is really getting out of hand.

Is this NBC's version of screwing their loyal fans??

No, I think I'de call it phase II of their plan to torture the CI fans.

Is Bravo playing the eps in order, casue if they are, it just might be that the Logan/Barek epppys were the next in line.
Maybe Bravo is saving the good (aka Goren/Eames) eppys for a day when the football conference champianships aren't on........just a thought.......

Is watch a G/E one? i know slither is and isn't wasichu L/B?

If you read the original post, it said there are 4 eps tonight, 1 is a G/E ep (Slither) and the other 3 aren't!

I just checked Bravo, the last ep is Drama Giacoso.

Yes, let's get the facts correct and not jump to conclusions.

Bravo is airing 4 LOCI episodes tonight--Slither and Watch are G/E, Wasichu and Dramma Giocoso are L/B. That's two episodes apiece for each detective team, NOT a conspiracy to show more Logan episodes than Goren episodes.

And the G/E episodes, not the L/W will be repeated. Again, no conspiracy favoring the Logan episodes.

Two points I want to make:
1) When USA and Bravo bought the rights to LOCI episodes, they bought them as a package, NOT just the Goren episodes, as much as some would prefer it that way. I want to see ALL LOCI episodes, not just from one team.
2) Some board members, myself included, like Logan and enjoy a lot of his episodes. Please remember that not everyone is totally only for G/E.

Fair enough. And I stand corrected about "Watch." I was in too much of a hurry to state my own displeasure at what I perceived to be an excessive anti-Logan bias. Those who like Logan are entitled to get to see his episodes too.

I still say there's no conspiracy by Bravo favoring one or the other. Next time around I'm sure there will be more G/E episodes. Everyone has preferences, but let's respect the right of those who aren't only G/E fans to get to see Logan.

I think I need to buy some box sets...I just got done watching 2 eppys on Bravo and I feel like I loaded up on white castle sliders when I was craving a filet mignon. Not that sliders are awful...It just didnt take care of the craving.
What season does everyone like best? I think for me it would be season 3-4 except when Eams is on maternity leave. ACTUALLY, 1 and 2 are great and have more eppys. Oh, Hell..I will just get them all!

I dont dislike Logan..I just really like G/E. Like I posted in this thread, I just need to break down and purchase box sets so I am not left hanging when I dont get my G/E fix. I hope for the sake of CI there are plenty more Logan fans and the show continues if VDO does not renew...maybe it would be Logan and Eams?! That might be interesting.

IMO, season 2 is the best. Best stories and best acting. I personally am a bit OCD, so I have to watch them in order. Also it's interesting to see character development when you do it that way. But, hey, whatever you get, enjoy! And please bring some discussion to the board. Us natives are apparently getting a bit restless here!

Aren't you jumping to conclusions???? How do you know that the reason this thread was started was because the "starter" didn't like Logan?
Here are some possible reasons why this thread was started-
1) gorenfan was just wondering, and wanted to fly their idea out there for everyone to critique.
2) She seriously thinks there is a consperisy.
3) She doesn't like Logan.............????????
4) She was upset and needed to vent.

I don't know......the "logan" conspiracy just doesn't make that much sense to me.

A message board is used for writing comments......and just because you don't agree with them doen't mean they shouldn't be written.

The point I'm trying to make is, just because Bravo airs 3 Logan episodes doesn't mean anyone is screwing loyal fans--those are the words used in the original post. I'm also saying that there might be some members, myself included, who enjoy watching the Logan episodes and don't see any dire consequences from Bravo's schedule. There are going to be times when there are more Goren episodes on the schedule than Logan's. Eventually we all should get the opportunity to watch the episodes we prefer or enjoy more, which should be good news no matter what our preferences.

There would be nothing unusual for NBC to be testing the Logan eps in the "repeat markets" to see how they are received by the viewers.

And again I ask you Choc, how are my postings preventing you from enjoying Logan eps?? Does this board have some magical link to your TV that sends out vibes when there is an anti-Logan post?? That in turn sends a signal to your brain preventing your enjoyment?? Please let me know so we can then try the same experiment on the House board and maybe all those fans will stop enjoying that show too and ratings for LOCI will possibly increase!

What bothered me is your saying in your initial post that Bravo's showing 3 Logan episodes somehow meant NBC was screwing their loyal fans. Is that what you intended to say? Because if you did, it implies that somehow Logan fans aren't really loyal LOCI fans. What I want to avoid is an us vs. them environment, where only the Goren/Eames fans are considered the "real" LOCI fans and those who like Logan are...what?

I acknowledge I made a mistake by jumping in and posting without checking my episode facts and without clarifying what you meant. I corrected myself about "Watch" and now I'm attempting to clarify, to understand what your words in your original post meant to convey.

If I misunderstood your original post, please correct me. I interpreted your words as somehow not only being anti-Logan but also anti-Logan fans because they're somehow not "loyal" to LOCI. If that's not what you meant, then please let me know. Aren't Logan fans equally LOCI fans and equally loyal to the show as the Goren/Eames fans?

Actually Choc, you're biggest mistake was jumping in and being so confrontational. There's so few of us on this board, the least we can be is civil to one another.

I don't question your loyalty to the show. But I guess when I refer to "loyal fans" I'm talking about the people who have watched CI from the beginning and continue to watch in large part because of VDO and KE. I'm not anti-Logan as much as I'm anti-Logan on CI. I see the 2 teams as being on 2 different shows.

Inasmuch as I wasn't being nitpicky about the 3 to 1 Bravo night, I was really just expressing my personal displeasure at turning on the TV and not seeing Goren/Eames. Bravo, which usually airs the eps in order, seemed to, for some reason, air them out of order in favor of an extra Logan ep. USA seems to have cut out some weekly airings of CI altogether and they too were airing a lot of season 5. Now intellectually, I understand that when both these networks are airing season 5, Logan eps are obviously going to show up. But emotionally, when I turn on my TV at 11 at night and look forward and expect to see Goren, I get a little frustrated. Not only is there not Goren ep, but there's not a friggin thing on tv at 11 pm.

Your last line is a bit arrogant. I would have at this moment extended the olive branch and tried not to have any conflict on this board. But the time has come for YOU to move on to something else, so see ya!!

(One of the problems with boards like this is that you can't hear someone's tone or know them well enough to really hear how something is supposed to be said. I've been misunderstood more than once. I'm new here. I recently came back to watching Law & Order. I started watching the original show, and I have to say I've always enjoyed the character of Logan and I was very happy to see him back.

During the holidays I began watching Law & Order CI on Bravo and found I enjoyed watching both Goren/Eames and Logan/Barek.

There isn't anything wrong with liking one more than the other, as long as you respect everybody's right to have a favorite.

I'm not bringing this subject up to create a war on this board, but I can't help but mention it. Tonight, BRAVO is airing 4 eps as usual. On Fire, The Good, Jones and The Extra Man.

I've watched the repeats on BRAVO for months and it has always aired eps in sequence (except when doing a marathon). Tonight, they are airing 2 eps from season 5 and 2 eps from season 1 (as of last week, they were rerunning season 1). Why the change? It's not that I have objections to a L/B ep, it's that I object to the network changing it's usual scheduling just to put a Logan ep on. Is there a hidden message here or am I just being paranoid?

I'm thinking you migth be a little paranoid at this point......

But it really isn't your fault! After the treatment NBC has given us CI fans, what else do they excpect except for us to go crazy?!

Hubby just bought 3rd season for me this last week! D**n, I am gonna have to keep that man! With each set, I say 'this is my favorite'....and each one is, but there are some episodes I like better than others. Sure is a nice way to spend the evening when hubby is out on the road.

No, gorenfan, you are not paranoid! I noticed the same thing. They definitely did that just to squeeze one in. Seriously, just keep running them in order. Not only does it take the Logan eps out of the running for awhile, but it keeps all of OCDers at ease!

On the other hand though, USA has been kind of running them in order, and it looks like once they get near the end of season 4, they go back to season 1. That's good news for us who don't appreciate the squeezing in of Logan eps!

I'm just glad they showed Jones, it's one of my favorites. I can't stand the perp and I love how Bobby tortures him at the end. I'v seen this episode many times and I still laugh histarically during the interregation. I made a little poster for my husband, it has Goren's foot on the desk and he's asking what size shoe my husband wheres My husband thought it was only mildly funny.

I am just itching for it to come time to discuss Jones for our eppy of the week. It's one of my favorites too, I think I could talk about it for 10 pages!
