BILLY CAMPBELL SET TO RETURN AS SERIES REGULAR IN EMMY®-NOMINATED HIT SERIES “THE 4400”

Hit Series Returns to USA for Fourth Season in Summer 2007

LOS ANGELES, CA – January 12, 2007 – People’s Choice Award winner Billy Campbell is set to reprise his role as Jordan Collier for the first time as a series regular in the Emmy®-nominated and critically acclaimed hit series THE 4400, it was announced today by Jeff Wachtel, USA’s executive vice president, original programming. Returning for its fourth season, the series will premiere in summer 2007 with 13 one-hour original episodes. Playing the self-anointed leader of the 4400, Campbell joins other returning cast members including: Joel Gretsch (“Taken”) as Tom Baldwin, Jacqueline McKenzie (“Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood”) as Diana Skouris, Patrick Flueger (“The Princess Diaries”) as Shawn Farrell, Conchita Campbell (“Scary Movie 4”) as Maia Rutledge, Megalyn Echikunwoke (“That ’70s Show”) as Isabelle and Chad Faust (“Saved”) as Kyle Baldwin.

"From the moment he appeared on screen as Jordan Collier, everyone could see that Billy was bringing something extraordinary and unique to THE 4400,” said Wachtel. “We couldn't be more thrilled that this season we will have even more of him!"

THE 4400 explores the travails of the 4400 people who all at once returned in a ball of light to Earth; though the returnees had not aged physically, many of them reappeared with dramatic abilities ranging from enhanced reflexes to precognition. NTAC (National Threat Assessment Command) is the government agency responsible for keeping track of the returnees and investigating all things related to the 4400. Widespread distribution of promicin has created a dangerous new world, a world in which special abilities are no longer the exclusive province of the 4400. Fifty percent of those who take the shot pay the price with their lives, while those who survive are now ostracized by a government determined to rid the world of promicin forever. But promicin distribution was only the first step, and what’s next on Jordan Collier’s agenda will require an even bigger leap of faith on behalf of believers and non-believers alike.

Campbell made his television debut as a guest star in the network series “Family Ties” and “Hotel” before becoming a series regular as the character Luke Fuller in the long-running primetime drama “Dynasty.” Campbell also starred with Sela Ward on the critically acclaimed drama “Once and Again.” During the series run, Campbell was recognized with a Golden Globe® nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series-Drama. Campbell is still recognized for the cult classic “The Rocketeer” with Jennifer Connelly. His feature film credits include “Gettysburg,” “Brylcreem Boys,” “Lover’s Knot,” “The Night We Never Met,” “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” and “Enough.”

I hope so. He's one of my favorites (even though I totally didn't notice he was missing from the list! ohmy.gif )
