I know there was another thread about Kathy and I mentioned her in my thread under a diff topic.
But anyway, I was alarmed to see all the Kathy hating going on. From what I see (and I have not seen all the episodes..maybe 90%) she seemed to be a supportive wife. I find the whole divorce thing super sad, maybe cuz my parents were divorced or maybe cuz I am married with kids.
Anyway, I also think she looked really good in Burned too.

Why, I read through the thread again and it doesnt really answer the question.

I like Kathy. She has put up with a lot from Elliot: late nights at work, never talks about anything, and has a bad temper are a few. She, IMO, stayed a lot longer then most women would. That is why I am glad she got the divorce. Now she can be happy and move on with her life. Elliot has a lot of issues he needs to work on and maybe Kathy felt that she wasn't going to be able to help him with them. From what I saw, she is a good mother and was a good wife. She really does deserve better and now that the divorce is final she can get it.

I like Kathy and all but i was pretty mad at her for the way she left him and the was she has been acting towards him his own daughter hates him. and the one time when kathleen got a dui kathy said she went to a party no big deal so pretty much she was saying it was ok for her to drink in drive. I do like kathy now and want the best for her and the kids.

In what ep did Kathy move back into the house and Elliot get an apartment? In RIPPED, he was still living there. I missed something.
I like Kathy. I think both of them are to blame for the break up, though. He shut her out, and she seemed to just stew about it and be resentful instead of trying to talk to him about it. They seemed to talk at each other. When she said in CLOCK "Oh, that's refreshing." That was just downright mean.

its not that i dont like her, but she didnt understand what elliots job took. she left him in a time that he needed support and it hurt him a lot. he thought he wasnt going to be able to see his kids anymore and he loves his kids.

yeah, he wasn't like some dads where he didn't care, or neglected them. he always wished he could be w/ his kids, and enjoyed every min. of it when he was w/ them. poor guy! lol

exaclty. and sometimes i felt he wish he could leave the job to go see them. the one episode(forget which one) where the girl throws her baby away( ) elliot said that it was like 5:00(something) and it was his turn to have the kids and he was still working. and olivia says capitan i can do the case let him go. and he didnt even object. kathy knew how much is kids meant to him and she left. thats rude.

I agree it was a low blow to el when she left him when he was already down she kicked him where it hurt the most. when my mom and dad went through a devorice i was mad at my step mom for breaking them up and i grew to like her but then when my bro was born she left just told me not to tell my dad and took the baby and left. so i was peeded off at kathy at the way she left him because that's how my step mom left us so i feel his pain and the kids pain. But kathleeen is being a brat about it why does she hate him so much? Kathy, needs to lay off of el and understand how he feels about it. When kathy said that's refrushfull or something to that effect i thought el was going to yell at her and he did look hurt when she said that like she hit him below the belt. i wanted to hit her for saying that and she had no right to get benson into it either. and cragen understands what stabler is going through.
