I have to say that it is not just that Tim got voted off that is upsetting his fans. Those of us that were not there can not speak of how well he did because the show has not been on tv yet. What is bothering a lot of us is the fact that we did not even get the chance to vote for him. It was our understanding that America voted, not the judges, so it is a real dissapointment. I truly believe that if Tim's fans had an opportunity to vote that he would not have been eliminated in the first show. WE ARE PROUD OF HIM, in regards to the statement that we should be, we are just dissapointed becuase we all know that with his fans behind him, he had a great chance of making it to number 1.

Your right Danielle, When the show begins thursday we are supposed to have 10 finalists to choose from. I am glad it was exposed. Anybody who would not understand where this is wrong, is really just glad it was not the person of their interest who was taken off before getting a fair vote. Then they would understand that the fans would accept the voting process if there had been one........which there was not. There are still many that dont even know and there will be a chill in the air on thursday night when this exposed.

yes, it is really sad how many of Tim's fans and good friends don't even know yet. I kind of feel bad for them but I have not said anything other than on this board because I know it was soposed to be a secret. So many people are going to be dissapointed that they did not get the chance to vote. I still can't wait to see Tim on TV tonight though, at least he got a couple of minutes of fame! He will always be a star in my eyes.

No one should have been voted off the first show. Way too much time, energy, and sacrifice were made by all. This show is all about ratings ... not talent. When did this become a vocal competition?? It is too bad we never got to compete at the musicianship level or the songwriting level. Perhaps that is why we NEVER hear ANY previous Nashville Star "winner" (and I use the term loosely) on the radio!!
