Well your right Mam.......I do represent Josh. I did not just post a message for Tim and his fans, I posted a message in every contestants forum. This is the only one where the fans were complaining. The other contestant that was voted off Friday night's forum 1: does not give away who was voted off & they are not claiming the show to be rigged. The fans in this forum gave away BOTH of the contestants that were voted off. The other fans ( all of them ) are acting respectful and following the derection of the stage manager by keeping their mouth shut. I can promise you that when and if Josh is voted off there will be no complaints from me. As I said before making the top 10 out of 20,000 is a big deal and they ALL deserve props for doing so. I am very proud of Josh for making it this far & whatever happens next is just icing in the cake.

I never said anything bad about TIM as a matter of fact I said HE ACTED LIKE A CHAMP! The fans I do understand are upset but they still need to be respectful of the other contestants. Tim said himself in the end there can be only ONE! NOT 10 someone has to go every show. I was at the show friday night and Tim's guitar playing was AWESOME but it out shined his vocals ! Well I'm not sorry I let the cat out of the bag about Tim. I am sorry that people are getting nasty and personal because of the news. And I'm sorry that someone else blabbed about the other contestant, that wasn't fair to her.

Decisions like that are hard to make and sometimes you just have to pick something to focus on to make a choice when all your choices are great. I don't know whether the show is rigged or not, it doesn't matter, it's their show and their rules but I am really only disappointed that I won't see Tim on TV for the next few weeks. I am sure the other contestants have plenty of skills and talent, but I never cared about the show anyway, I just wanted to see Tim on my big screen TV. That's fine, I'll just record him live next time he's up here playing in my living room and I'll watch it whenever I want.

I'd like to ask that people stop the rude comments to each other, there is enough negativity already in the world. We don't need to add to it and everyone that knows Tim knows he is one of the nicest, most geniunely kind people I know and I'm sure he wouldn't want us to be slamming the other contestants or their fans. Nashville Star on the other hand................. nah, just not worth it. Support Tim, just support Tim, don't get irritated by the little insults.

Chill out, relax and wait. Tim will fly higher than the winner, I'll bet my unused plane ticket on it.

hmmm, i usually find my self just reading this stuff and nothing more but i really feel compelled to respond here in a few stages.
to gabrielfan- it is completely unprofessional and uncalled for for you to show up to any bodys site and say anything at all to their fans, especially when you represent another contestant, shame on us, my ass, shame on you. the people here are dissapointed because they are fans of tim, i happen to know for a fact tim has a larger fan base on his own than all of the rest of the contestants combined, he has worked very hard for many years to build and sustain that fan base and they are very loyal. so you really should reconsider slamming them as all of them still have voting power and you are putting a bad taste in peoples mouths about who you represent, just food for thought. with that, you could be pretty sure that none of the people posting were at the show to hear some one say to keep it quiet, somebody probably called a mother or best freind or something like that and it passed a couple of people and ended up back here with out them knowing to keep quiet. dont think fans of other contestants that were there havent told any body, their human for god sake so get off your high horse, who the hell do you think you are.
next to the fans-- its true the producers asked the audience to keep it under their hats and im guessing nobody told you, so i wouldnt feel to bad. I was also there fri night and there were some great performances. Angela Hacker blew everybody off the stage, among other outstanding performances were-David St.Romain, Josh Stevens, and Tim Laroche. the rest were just average or less. I encourage all of you to watch the show on thurs and see for your self. Tim was AWSOME. Now being true Tim did not pick a song to focus on vocal range but i would dare any one else to attempt that song, it dosent show vocal range but the timing and frasing of the song are incredibly difficult. I do know Tim pretty well and im going to guess that he chose the song he did to show the entire package of Tim Laroche, we all know hes a guitar player first, song writer second and vocalist third, my guess would be that if he had only one chance to show himself, show the whole package and deal with it from there. im going to guess that he has no regrets about the choice and if given the chance wouldnt do anything different.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that all of yopu understand these are my words and not Tims, i know the guy and am just making guesses based on my past and experiences with him. maybe he would care to respond after the show has aired, i know he wont before then. if at all.
Last more of my own words. I do know that music row and the radio stations in Nashville do not take Nashville Star seriously, They have never broken a major national act, in fact most of them you never heard about again. Nashville Star is a reality show just like american idol, rockstar super nova, rockstar inxs, big brother, it is a game show and how many of them did you ever hear about actually being successful after the show, not many. I personally think Tim is better off, he wont have to carry this around for the rest of his life and he wont have a career that he won on a game show to try to live down. he can return to working on the other irons he has in the fire and set his career by his hard and intense work and bring to everybody something truly great and original, not as a corporate wannabe drone, I still vote for tim with or with out nashville star, and all of you still know hell shake your hand and be your freind when he comes through your town or living room with no strings attached and no game show ego

I am a relative of Tim's. The news about Tim was innocently given out. Having him eliminated from the show is certainly upsetting to all of us. Our family has respected the wishes of the producers of Nashville Star and have kept our thoughts and feelings to ourselves. Tim has an extensive and passionate fan base who, along with his family, need a little time to deal with our disappointment and gain a little perspective.

I have to say that it is not just that Tim got voted off that is upsetting his fans. Those of us that were not there can not speak of how well he did because the show has not been on tv yet. What is bothering a lot of us is the fact that we did not even get the chance to vote for him. It was our understanding that America voted, not the judges, so it is a real dissapointment. I truly believe that if Tim's fans had an opportunity to vote that he would not have been eliminated in the first show. WE ARE PROUD OF HIM, in regards to the statement that we should be, we are just dissapointed becuase we all know that with his fans behind him, he had a great chance of making it to number 1.

I've been getting some private messages and emails from people about me posting about Tim's freedom, or getting kicked off if you want to look at it that way, after the first show.

Please let me settle this for the last time: I was not there, my husband called me before the show ended, he doesn't remember if he told me it was a secret or not and I don't remember him telling me.

Yes fans-of-the-other-contestants, I'm sure I could have figured out that it should have been a secret ................... if I hadn't had this little stroke that kept me from going to see the show in the first place.

To the few of you all who have sent messages thanking me for letting people know about Tim, you are welcome and I'll see you on Tim's site. To those of you pissed at me for spilling the beans about Tim you probably should have stayed away from the forums to begin with, if it hadn't been me someone else would have posted it eventually.

Julie, I'm not upset about your spilling the beans re: Tim being gone first night. I am disappointed that he didn't get to stay longer but the judges get to vote off the first night. I had hoped he would stick around longer but I certainly don't blame you for letting the "cat out of the bag". His fans can still support him by buying his music and promoting him however they can. He is a talented man.

I would like to have seen him stay awhile longer.....everyone is always disappointed when their fav leaves the show but I will be watching entire show. I am disappointed that some of our regular board members did NOT make the final 10 but do wish the remaining 8 good luck. I've heard there is still some amazing talent left & I'm anxious to get to see the show. I watch it every year & probably will as long as it keeps coming back.

I don't think you did anything wrong and I think Tim is headed for success with or without NS & at least he had exposure before many many people. I don't think this is a set back for him, just a disappointment for all those who were his dedicated fans. He said there can only be one winner & from what I hear, he is handling it with class.

Let's not count the show out. I think we will still see some outstanding performances & I won't make a decision now till I've seen it a few weeks.

I've been reading this thread and keeping pretty quiet but I really feel the need to say something. First of all Julie, as others have said you did nothing wrong. There are many folks who stay active with this board all year long, including myself although I don't post very often. One of the fun things about this group of board members is their ability to sleuth out information, starting with knowing who made the regionals, then who made show before the lists are published, who the judges will be, who gets voted off and other interesting information. I am sure the powers that be from the show know all about this...even that the "beans" will be spilled about who gets voted off before the show is aired. Anything they really don't want out there can be removed from the boards by Admin. So please, Fans, don't get in a tail spin over the word leaking out, it happens every time and isn't going to change anything.

Now to those bashing the fans for being so upset their favorite got voted off. Hey, lighten up on them. These folks have a lot invested emotionally in their contestant. They are dreaming the dream right along with that person. They are feeling that their contestant will finally have a chance to make it and that they, the fan can actively participate by voting and promoting the contestant. Then WHAM! Too soon, it's all over. Their hopes are dashed and it's quite a blow to them emotionally. They feel hurt and disappointment not only for themselves but for the contestant they support and also very often for the contestants family. When the contestant gets voted off, and yes, we all know they can't all make it to the end, it hurts tremendously and these folks need to basically grieve and go through a grief process. They'll be fine but they will be expressing themselves and that is OK.

Now that I've said what I needed to say, I think I'll disappear into the background again. Until next time take care everyone!

I can understand you saying you were offended....get use to it, alot more offensive things will be said before the season is up. The same holds true with all the fans of all the contestants. They will need time to vent and to lick their wounds and then you will find that many of those fans and even contestants will get behind one or more of the other contestants to show them support.

I said I was sorry for how I said what I said. I thought we were done with this. I have not been on the boards and involved with the other shows so I would not know how those fans acted. Remember, this board found out the name of all 10 of the Finalists before the formal announcement this year - last year we found out nine. It's a game for us.

I got a call Sat morning telling me the two that left - but it had already been told. Darn!!

Last season the show was done the same way with the judges voting off a contestant at the taping of the first show. On the board we know right away who it was. If they do it every year like that the same thing will happen. They only have the right to expect the contestants to keep quiet, not everyone else.

I hope that you are getting better Julie and will get out to see lots of Tim's shows.

I did forget to say one thing in all the DRAMA ( sorry again ) that my first post caused. Tim had the most fans present Friday night there is NO DOUBT about that! LOL I was starting to think I was at a Tim LaRoche concert. I had two of his fans behind me they had posters and buttons and everything they we very sweet to me, even thouhg I was there to support Josh. They thought my sign was pretty funny. I also had two men not positive but Im pretty sure one said he was his brother or something ..... dont remember, anyway he said to me " When Josh gets voted off will you vote for Tim?? " for a split sec I thought what an arrogent cocky thing to say........... but only for a sec. I figured it was just like talking crap about a football, basketball game whatever you get my point. My team is better than your team ....... then I thought it was funny. I said " SURE ! As long as you will vote for Josh when Tim gets voted off " we all laughed and just then about 30 or so Tim fans came around the corner with signs - posters - buttons - you name it ! Although many of us are frustrated by our being robbed of the opportunity to vote for him.......I am just glad to know Tim is happy. Look at this avatar and lets be happy for TIM in his 'wicked awesome' accomplishment.

You need to start reading what people wrote, not what you think they wrote. I didn't say you gave out the name I said exactly what is quoted above.... I didn't even know the other contestants name was out until you brought it up. You did bring it up. I still don't know the name as I have not read it anywhere yet.

What I don't understand is I thought the people voted for who will be kept and who will be booted...Am I wrong...why are the judges booting two people before the show even airs...there I was all set to vote ..and now I find it doesnt matter...Someone please explain how this works...???? I am new here to the site...just came because of Tim...finding alot of interesting stuff..and all the contestants are great...but I sure as heck would have voted for Tim ...had I been given the opportunity...he is fantastic...Bonnie

Last season and this season the judges voted people off at the taping of the first show. Last year it was one person, this year two. For the rest of the shows the audience does the voting. I don't remember why they do it that way. It's the pits when you don't get to vote for your favorite. From the clips i was planning on voting for Tim.

This has been my question also Bonnie and this is why i am only watching to see Tim the first night like the Majority. I dont see any reason to watch from there unless the show corrects its wrong-doing. I read in country weekly and its on all the radios that we will be doing the voting tonight. Just forget about what you expected of this so called competition and enjoy Tim tonight as I plan to. This is a big disappointment to alot of people.

i heard of one guy who emailed 8000 people and another person who said they wrangled a 10000 person group to vote for tim.
not too sure how accurate those numbers are, but it's a shame they won't get to use their phones tonight.

We will be voting tonight.....just not for Tim . I'm suspicious the producers worried Tim might just win the thing and that isn't a part of the grand plan. I know everyone was freaking in Season 2 when Matt Lindahl lasted as long as he did. I also know that sounds like a "conspiracy theory" but I'm not backing off from my thoughts until after the show tonight. Last year Jewels fans were screaming they were robbed. Truthfully, on that night she was the weakest. I don't know what happened 'cause I heard a couple of times live and she rocked. We'll see shortly now.

To hell with them, We called in our votes for Tim regardless..... Too bad they don't allow voting for him online still. I have this odd feeling it would generate as much fan attention as his boards have. Again to me, the number DON'T LIE.
