Ok, Nancy and I are always going back and forth on this one, she likes the more mellow heartfelt stuff and I tend to like his faster more up tempo songs... So, who are you with on this one???? What's your favorite Tim original????

Mine currently is Goodbye Is Good By Me.

Dang, I think women should stick together wink.gif, but the uptempo is usually my preference. I'll let you know my favorite song whenever I get my CD smile.gif.

Yes, I do like the more heart felt songs, but I am kinda bias. I like them all. I do have a few favorates though But the one I tend to play the most is....

LMAO You two totally crack me up. I wish I could see your picture clearer. Then I would now who I spoke to Friday night.

Obviously Take Me Now is a favorite. I heard Mountain Home for the first time just after I moved to my mountain home. So that will always be special to me. These are just 2 of my favorites from 1 CD.

I must find my other CD. Hmmmm bet my Mom has a copy I could borrow. I should also go out to the truck right now and steal the other CD out of it.

I MUST SAY THAT EVEN THOUGH HIS NEW SONGS ARE "WICKED AWSOME" I'M STILL VERY FOND OF HIS OLD CD'S.. SONGS LIKE, " COWBOYS WIFE" A SONG TIM AND HIS BROTHER WROTE YEARS AGO. OR ANYTHING OF THE 1ST AND 2ND CD HE DID WITH HIS BAND.

Well if we're going back to prehistoric Tim songs... Mine would definately be Nights..... Something he wrote when he was 16 or there abouts.... I still con him into playing it at the house or if I'm lucky and the crowd is drunk enough, at some gigs wink.gif

Ok I gotta jump in on this part of the subject. 1001 Nights kicked ass as far as I am concerned. "I Just Wanna Die" was and will always be my favorite. I will never regret lugging all the bands equipment from gig to gig so they could get there to play. (guess that shows how long I have known Tim) I loved roadying for them just to hear them play every time I could. home or out it didnt matter where they played I loved it. GO GET'EM TIM

I'd lug stuff to hear him play. I have watched numerous ROADIE PEOPLE....They have it all together.
I'd have to quit my job, but I get more money as relief (work when I can). blink.gif

It is my California Cd that is hiding.

I'm not shure how many people heard this song but " This Town " i think is got to be by far my favorite..

Hello Mr. Thurber....

Thanks, our New Year so far is so good wink.gif I hope yours is also! Let's see Tim go all the way and it will be that much better wink.gif We're planning on coming down for the Feb 15 taping so hopefully we'll see you then. Any suggestions on relatively cheap hotels down there?

Been There, Done That..... Every Now and Then..... I can't say Tim has writen a bad song. At least, I haven't heard one yet. He's got a knack for ear catching tunes that are inspiring and imaginative.

Songs: "Little Green House", "Every Now and Then", "The Man & The Truck", Woulda, Should, Coulda", "Me and Your Memory", "Claim to Fame", "Old County", "Gamblin' Man", "Day to Day", "My First Drink", "#9 (Take Me Now)" we used to request by number on CD because earlier CD's did not have names of the songs on them, "Cowboy's Wife" ,"Last Nite It All Came Down" etc., etc., etc. So many to remeber. All great music that makes you feel good; Smiles and tears. biggrin.gif sad.gif

Well, it is always hard to narrow it down to A (1) favorite when you talk about songs so I have to mention a few of my favorites instead.
  • Girlfriend
  • Day to Day
  • Claim to Fame
  • Where I Left Off
And of course I have to mention Shed songs that come to mind.

  • To Keep Him Around
  • Memory
  • So Bad So Good
  • What I knew Then
Well now that I think of it I could have just listed the songs that I don't like, it would be easier. Yes it is alot easier, there are NO songs that I don't enjoy listening to. Thanks Tim ;-)
