We managed to make it to the last 2 of the 3 shows while Tim was home. As expected both were packed wall to wall. Though we didn't stay long at the Sterling show, we did have a great time and it served as a nice warm up to the next night in Athol.

The Athol show was awesome, I ran into people I haven't seen in 15 years. It was amazing the raw number of people that were there, and the old friends that we saw. Before they opened the bar and moved the show downstairs, I heard that some people were waiting outside, in line, for up to an hour. This is where the true fun began. Tim as usual was on top of his game and the show was a good mix of originals and covers. It was nice to see John (Tim's brother) and Jim (Tim's dad) get a few songs in also (thanks guys). It was one of the most electrified rooms I've ever see Tim play to. Thanks Tim for a night I will never forget. I have a feeling it will be a long time before you're back to play for us hometown folks smile.gif ~~Mike

P.S. Some pics will be up on my website soon... I'll post again when they're there wink.gif

This post has sort of totally bummed me out.
I had plans to go to the Athol show. After talking with many people on Friday afternoon, I realized how packed it was going to be. When I got home, I dragged my husband to Sterling. I was dead tired, but had to go. I ended up leaving early and missing most of it. I work nights and hadn't slept yet. The only original song I heard was Fish Fight. Although, as expected, everything Tim did play was awesome. I can't believe his Dad and Bro played in Athol. I was so hoping for that in Sterling. They have done that before there and it was absolutely fantastic.

I never made it to Athol. and now I am bummed. Had we stayed in the night before, we would have been there. But I did run into an old grammar school friend in Sterling. That was a plus.

A suggestion made in another friend (OOPS meant to type thread) was to invite friends of Tim to this site. Let's get that post count WAY UP THEYAH (there). Don't forget to spread the word to VOTE, VOTE, VOTE, VOTE !!!!

Nice to meet you.

Hey, i am new to this message board, and I had to say that I was also at the Athol show, and what a crowd!!! We were crushed in the back of the room, and very pleased when they moved it downstairs so that eveyone could enjoy it too!! I have seen them all perform, (Jim Jon, and Tim) many times and they never fail to satisfy the crowd with their entertaining ways. They are one talented and sweet bunch of guys!!! rolleyes.gif

My husband and I also went to the Athol gig. I agree with Mike it was really nice meeting up with friends that we hadn't seen in years, also to see all the people waiting outside kinda ,made me feel a little guilty sitting closest to the stage.....lol ( but not that guilty) I was glad when they moved the party down stairs. It was great to see Tim and his brother and Dad play and sing together. Tim and his brother played the same guitar together in sink. All 4 hands playing that one instrument Awesome show!!!
The true spirit of family was there in that room, with Tim's gram in her 90's dancing with as much spirit as anyone there. So much support and love shown in Tim's family!
Tim has always had the gift of making everyone feel like they belonged and that they matter, soon the world will know that too. Tim is and will always be a true Nashville Star. There is magic that happens when Tim plays that guitar.

Wishing you all the best Tim
Don't forget to vote for Tim everyone!!!!!
Happy New Year!!!!!
