Hey y'all it's me, Kacey!
I don't get much time to spend on the boards, but I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for the support and kind words! It really means a lot to me and all of the contestants. I cannot wait for the new season to start. January 11th is right around the corner! This is going to be such a positive experience for me. I'm really going to be learning a lot. I especially can't wait to hear everyone's original songs! I got to hang out with my fellow contestants for a little over a week, and I can already tell that we're soon going to be like one big family! We all bring something different and unique to the table. THANK YOU to my supporters out there! I am SO excited to be representing Texas. I know Pop would have been proud to see another East Texan make it on the show! Thank you.

Kacey, I'm so anxious for this show to get started. Just watched interview with WW & think you did a good job. None of the video clips showed us much to go on. Hoping to get to know you better. Casey Rivers was my favorite last season and POP has got to be proud of another local gal being in the final 10. Hope they will keep you around for awhile.

Good luck on show & I'm glad you guys are all settled in at the hotel. Now, work, work, work but it will be so worth it.

It's great that you could get the time to visit the forum, as I am sure you are very busy. I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS and GOOD LUCK! I was so surprised when I saw you. I bought one of your CD's a few years ago (Movin' On) and was so impressed. I love that CD, you are fantastic! I too live in Texas, only about 90 miles from you, near Sherman. It's so great that you are on Nashville Star this season. I will be watching every week, and praying for your success!

Thank you for the beautiful music. I woke this morning turned the TV on expecting to see some 80's movie rerun. I turned on the USA Network and heard the most beautiful voice. You got my attention. You also have an incredible stage presence. I really look forward to hearing more of your music in the future, and maybe seeing a concert!
