WOW! I am sooooo excited for you David! It seems like just yesterday we were crazy kids in high school, and look where God has brought you! I always knew from the moment I heard your voice, you would make it big...I wasn't the least bit surprised when I found out you were going to be on Nashville Star! I was so happy when I heard about you on this show. You have worked so hard for this and if anyone deserves this you do. With that voice of yours I don't think there is any other way for it to go but to you. Congratulations, I never had any doubts that you would make it big. I can still remember watching you at the school talent shows, and your voice blew me away then, I always said it would be a shame if the world missed out on hearing you, and here you are. My brother called to let me know about the show and find out if it is the same David St. Romain. I watched the show tonight and you were great. I was a good friend of your brother Greg. I remember coming over to take your mom's mustang out in Vero with Greg. Of course, you and Tim were much younger and smaller than now. I loved your mom and dad also. They were great. Congratulations on the new baby. Children are a wonderful gift. I unfortunately lost contact with with Greg and your family when you left Vero to go back To Baton Rouge. OK the votes are in, and the judges, or producers, have hermetically sealed them in an old Community Coffee can. Now all we can do is wait, with breath baited by some really spicey boiled crawfish,(and maybe consume a JAX or four)for the show Thursday evening, and the BIG announcement. In my mind you are the winner David St. Romain, as are Libby, Baily, Jane, and Gaynor. In fact for that matter ALL of Baton Rouge, and Louisiana is the winner because you have been a rallying point for the entire State, our musical version of the Saints. We LOVE YA...and are looking forward to GREAT things from you in the future. I do hope you include those Hacker kids in a few things. I do hold a fond spot in my heart for folks from Alabama, as my mom was born and raised there, even though she got wise and left there over a half century ago.
