All Melissa and I can say is...WAY TO GO DUDE! We both knew that it would come for you sooner than later and man what a platform to have your "get to know me" party. Just think - Melissa and I can say "yep, we knew him when he was just starting out!!"

I don't know if you remember me, but I took sax lessons from you a couple of times at UNI. You played at Jam & Jazz with my dad Mark (guitarist). I was watching Nashville Star, and you mentioned that you majored in saxophone and I recognized you all of the sudden! You sound great! I'm so glad to hear that your dreams are coming true! I remember when you decided to leave UNI to play professionally, and I can't wait to hear you play your sax on TV! I'll be praying for you!

Joshua i will have to admit i have never watched nashville star until i heard u were gonna be on there. I am an iowa girl and had to give my support to one of my own. YOU will really go far in what you do. You sound awesome. I wouldn't miss the show now for anything. WTG and keep it up you really go something going for you!!!!!!

I'm a UNI grad and was excited to read/hear that you are an Iowa native and attended UNI! I love how you wear Hawkeye shirts on almost every informal clip, thanks for making Iowans proud! You are incredibly talented and I know you will go far no matter what the outcome of Nashville Star, but I sure hope you go all the way! Your song choices have been great! Your family is terrific and I think it's wonderful that you have your priorities in the right place. Much luck to your continued success and happiness!

I think your very talented and I have to admit you have a little girl that belongs to me wrapped around your finger and she thinks you are the bomb. Throughout this whole season on Nashville Star you have stood out more than any contestant on that show. You've kept it real and down to earth. You will make it and I personally hope that we will hear more from you in country music. Keep up the good work and all will prevail. God loves you honey, and he's watching over you. Keep your family close and don't give up. You have all of my support and my daughter Ashley's as well. We think your great.

SORRY, "ADMIN"...I know you're just doing your job, but I don't need the "Nashville Star web site" any more than I need to put up with the past weeks of ____________ I've witnessed. I watched the first time FOR the first time out of curiousity, and then I heard Josh sing.
He's the only reason I put up with the obvious crap that was going on. If they'd yanked him in week 2, I'd have been out of here by then...if this board had been up then, that is.

Soooo that tells me that the "Judges" were capable of only deciding on TWO who needed to go.
But then they knew that in advance....but what would they have done with all of that extra time?
Talk and show more ignorance? Nope, no reverence for unearned credit here.

They just cannot forgive the fact that 'Ol WILLY said ADIOS to the new C&W. And Josh had Willie's name plastered all over his blog. Oops - If only he'd asked me FIRST!

How long do you think it will take Willie to invite Josh on a tour? HUH? Betcha! Willie's hair isn't getting any redder, and Waylon is gone... besides, Willie is one helluva guy!
