Created by Emmy Award-winning producer Dick Wolf, Law & Order: Criminal Intent chronicles the life and crimes of the elite Major Case Squad of the New York City Police Department.
Law & Order: CI begins from the point of view of one of the major participants in the crime: the criminal, a witness, or even the victim. By integrating a unique psychological component, the police procedural mysteries allow viewers to get an up-close and personal look at the criminal justice system.
The Major Case Squad includes Detective Robert Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio), an exceptionally bright homicide investigator with well-honed instincts that match up favorably with his criminal quarry, and his partner, Detective Alexandra Eames (Kathryn Erbe), who brings an independence and stylish edge to her work that meshes well with Goren's work ethic. Overseeing the Major Case Squad is Captain James Deakins (Jamey Sheridan), a competent and ambitious political animal who knows how to survive and thrive behind the scenes. And the entire squad often butts heads with Assistant District Attorney Ron Carver (Courtney B. Vance), a straightforward lawyer who is a stickler for the crucial legal details.

hi! i've been a l&o:svu fan for a long time, occasionally watching ci when i felt like it. soon, i started to like ci just as much as svu. a adore the character bobby. vincent d'onofrio is my favorite actor... i actually do a lot of artwork of him and other celebrities. uhm, i guess it's pretty obvious i like watching completely messed up situations, killers, motives. i always giggle when bobby trips up the bad guy. i wonder if that means i'm sadistic?
and my favorite color is blue.

Welcome bik, blue is my favorite color too; I loved your little bit of personal info. If your sadistic then I'm afraid I am too, but I don't think that that's it. You really belong here, being a Vincent fan, in fact we should rename this board the VDO lover's board. Well, there are a few exceptions, but for the most part we're all on the same page about that.
Oh, welcome Bailz too. Oliviafan will probably just love the fact that your from Canada. She went nuts last time someone from Canada posted on this board, and I mean NUTS!

Bobby's style is the thing that I think I love most. The way that he takes on evidence and thinks it all through... Ok I could go on for days and just sound like an obssessed stalker. LOL I don't need the people at USA and NBC taking restraining orders out on me.

I just joined today...you guys have been keeping me entertained at work for a couple weeks now, and I'm the type of person who always has to put my two cents in!
My roommate somehow got me obsessed with CI during the holidays. Actually, all she did was watch reruns all the time and I got hooked myself! As a new viewer of the show, I started reading these posts so I wasn't lost all the time.
Oh yeah, and I already have seasons 1 and 2 on DVD...and season 3 is on its way in the mail I love Vincent/Goren...can't get enough. After reading the boards, I feel better knowing i'm not the only one!

Yeah I am a fan of the hair. If you haven't read our discussion of "One" yet, you should read it. We all have something about Goren, or some random thing in the show, to obsess about. I decided today that I wanted to obsess about the hair. I like it longer, like in your pic!

Hi everyone! I'm new here. I totally love this show!! I got "hooked" on it during the New Years Eve weekend marathon they had on and I simply can't get enough of it. VDO is an awesome actor. I love how he plays his "Bobby" character and yes he is a very good looking man!! I didn't realize he was THAT good looking until I saw a few shows first. I first noticed his acting then I thought to myself "Wow, he is A pretty good looking guy." And then I googled his name and realized that he was in a few movies that I've seen and didn't realize it was him in those movies. And I can't forget about Kathryn Erbe! She is so pretty and talented as well! Those two make a great team. I'm sorry to say though, I do not not watch it when the other two characters are on and I know the reason why the actors how to take turns every week, because of VDO's health. But I'm glad he's better and looking forward to seeing him on the show for a very long time. Well, I'm sorry this is kind of long. But I just wanted to say "Hi" and that I also love Law&Order: CI!! :) Bobby&Alex rock!!!!
