According to his official blog, Jim Ross signed a new contract with WWE this past Monday in Baltimore, prior to RAW going on the air. His original contract had expired on October 29 but he kept working on RAW under the terms of an extension. Terms of the new contract were not made public.

Sometimes i think he is going to have a stroke. he gets so rilled up. if they keep ross then king should go heel again. i don't like having both announcers cheering for the face.

The King should just be let go. As far as I'm concerned, Cole/JBL is the number one announcing team in WWE now. JBL tells it like it is and is not afraid to go to wrestling history in his commentary.

he is better being a heel commentator. he and jr still can be a decent commentator team if king would just go heel. and i agree that jbl and cole is the best commentating team.
