Saw the promos for this new series coming to USA written/produced? by some of the MONK people. Looks like it will be really good.

Yeah, I would check it out if it's anything like Monk. I haven't seen the promos yet, but I'll keep watching for them. I love catching new shows.
Ha ha, for a minute you had me worried with your post topic.. I thought you were saying that the board was underfunded or the Monk series was and that one or both were in trouble!

I watched "Underfunded" last night. It was fun. You could see the 'touch of Monk' in the writing but it really made me think about Hallie, Og, Nard and Meme as it was full of puns. "I'm from the Candian CIA....we have one you know," became the main characters signature.

I liked it, except I was too tired to see the end of it. But I will watch it again! And, correct me if I'm wrong (which I might be)...it looked like the guy from "3 Pies" was in this episode.

Stotfan - are you talking about the guy who played Ambrose's neighbor in Mr. Monk and the Three Pies? I thought he looked familiar but couldn't place where I'd seen him.
Hello Kees! The show reminded me a little of Man From U.N.C.L.E. and Get Smart, both of these shows which I used to watch.

Yes, he is the one I'm talking about. The guy who killed his wife and wanted to win the 3 pies to get the evidence.

Anyone know what happened to this show? I didn't see it on the schedule this week. I looked on the USA schedule and I don't see it!

That was the pilot, I don't think it's been picked up as a series yet. But I thought it was repeated this morning at 10 AM PT. I think I recorded it, but I've been fiddling on the internet with the football games on, so I haven't checked my tape yet.

It was on again this morning, this time I got it on tape. It was cute, the assistant was well acted; a real kick-butt gal. Time will tell if this could become a series but I think it is one I would like so am glad I have it on tape.
It takes rewatching to catch all the innuendo placed here and there in it. Some were so funny I was laughing so hard I scared my shy Sheltie.

I caught a little bit of this the other night. I wish I had remembered that it was going to be on soon, because I would have TiVo'd it! I really liked what I saw though! Great show!
