The reports & rumors on Lita leaving World Wrestling Entertainment are indeed true as she plans on ending her seven-year relationship with the company by the end of November. She doesn't plan on renewing her contract, which is set to expire by the end of next month. Lita will be finishing things up by Survivor Series, give or take a week in either direction.

Lita is leaving to pursue a career in local acting in Atlanta. She has a few plays and potential independent film roles & leads lined up. Most likely, she'll end up doing local theatre in Atlanta. Regarding her future in wrestling, WWE believes that she'll wind up in TNA at some point due to the schedule.



I hope that they let her kick Edge in the nuts or something similar to that leading to her departure. With her possibly going to TNA, I kinda of doubt it though. I wonder what kind of independent films we are talking about????? ;-P

I say face turn. I would like to see lita end her career as a face.

i just like her better as a face. i also get annoyed everytime edge does something to a diva jr acts like its the end of the fricken world. but when john cena does something to lita its like a he did something that would help society.

I was shocked that they let her have the title last night. I guess this means she will be working her contract until the very end because they have booked her on the upcoming European tour.

i'm glad they did.
