hey guys...i need all the strength and encouragment you can give me...i know i told you about my grandfather and that he went home...but he was rushed back to the hospital this morning...the doctors hav just a little bit of hope but his immune system is too weak to fight the infections...i talked to him yesterday on my birthday...i dont even know what to think...one moment god blessed our family and the next moment...all that blessing is gone. he's back in the hospital and probably won't make it this time.

please guys i need all your prayers to get my family through this...for grandfather...for me.

hey guys...so all of you know about my grandfather and how ill he's been. well he was rushed to the hospital early monday morning and my family has chosen to turn off the life support by his wishes. this is really hard on my family and myself and we're truly going to miss him. if you guys could just say a prayer for him. luckily right now he is just about comatose and he doesnt feel anything so he'll go quickly and he wont feel any pain when he goes. we've decided to let nature take its course and not prolong his suffering. we're letting him go as he wished...on a sunday where he was such a devout irish catholics (stubborn) man and was always going to church and was part of the church service as a reader. he did so much charity work...fought in the korean war and had grandchildren...children...and everything. he lived like every man should and I look up to him for that. thank you so much guys for all your support i dont think i would have been able to get through it without you.

also please say a prayer for my sister who isn't doing well again and snuck out last night and we think she was doing drugs or drinking... it's just been a tough time for my family in the past 6 months with her and my grandfather ill. please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers...it would be greatly appreciated.

hey guys just posting to let you know the doctors stopped the machines and he was gone at about 3:30pm...he went peaceful and quiet just like he wanted...he didn't suffer. he's with god now and we'll miss him terribly. i wont be posting wednesday or thursday because ill be gone at the wake and funeral for him to say my final goodbyes. thank you so much for all your support...i love you guys.

Sorry to hear about your loss. The Sox won against the Yankees last night and I am sure that your grandfather must have seen the game in a better place. So last night the Boston Red Sox won one for your grandfather. Rest in Peace.

I stopped into my second job today...I still am not allowed back to work yet because of my broken foot...but I stopped in to say hi and I found out that the store manager lost his wife in an accident last week...can you please send up an extra prayer for him and his two daughters...thanks a lot...

heey everyone just got back from burying my grandfather. it was very nice. part of the honor guard for the army came because he was a veteran and we had the colorguard watching over his casket during the wake. it was very nice...very hard to say goodbye. i loved hearing all the stories and memories people had of him and just home much he impacted people and how many people in such a short time. he truly was an amazing man. we had a very catholic funeral also so it was very nice. he really impacted the whole community, and our family and many others with all his volunteer work and just his being here on this earth and we'll miss him alot. please pray for me and my family to get through this.

Hey everyone, umm... i was just going to ask for prayers for my mum. She is doing much better but we found out on Sunday that her uncle died, it was sooner then we thought, she is leaving Wednesday for the funeral (it's in the UK) so if you could lend your prayers for her at this time.

Also just to keep you updated, she is down to only 4 meds a day plus only every other week trips to the hospital, and needles only once a month!

a big improvement from what she was a couple months ago! With her 15 meds, daily trips to the hospital and weekly injections! She lost her job over it, but my dad is still working so we'll get by! I really hope it's a long time before she has another relapse! It's like living through hell every time she dose.

As for the rest of you, you all have my prayers. Sox, i'm praying especially hard for you. I know what it's like to lose a grandfather like that. We lost my Grandad to cancer, he had a chance to be revived but he choose to just let the end come when it would. It's hard on those left behind, but you need to believe that there some where else now. You have my prayers.

Hi everyone....I have another prayer request...

One of my former karate students was driving his motorcycle and was pulled over because of a problem with his liscence plate....while he was helping load his motorcycle on the tow truck a drunk driver hit him and killed him. (thank God the police have the lady who hit him) He was only 19. I remember how happy he was the day he received his black belt, winning in his first black belt tournament, and he became one heck of a martial arts instructor. He will be missed by many.

Please send up an extra prayer for him and his younger sister, younger brother, and family....thanks so much....

Thank you everyone...this is very difficult for me...and it helps to be able to talk on here and ask for prayers for a really really good kid...I started teaching him karate when he was 10...he was too young to die...

thanks tim_boston...this post made tears come to my eyes out of no where because i know you're right. he was watching it from a much better place and they won that one for him...he must be up in heaven smokin a cigar...havin a drink and watchin the Sox win. i miss him everyday and it's tough to get by but my family is taking it day to day. please keep praying for me and my family..it's been tough on all of us.

Everyone turned out fine but my Geometry teacher. True we all thought she was going to be fine because she got to go home but i just found ou tthat the doctors only gave her 4 years to live. 5 at the most. She has two young children. The oldest is 11 i think. She is very close to me and helped me through a lot of crap with my mom and my boyfriend. So if ya'll would pray for her and her family I would greatly appreciate it!

I'm very glad i found this forum, what a wonderful place to be able to go to seek out friends and support in addition to the ones we have around us. Here's hoping we have a good support system around us. My heart goes out to all of you. I'm guessing you take Buddhist prayers as well? I've had many deaths in the last few years, it's nice to know i will now have you also to go to in the future, to help send my loved ones positive thoughts, energy and prayers. With love oceanheart.
