I watched Walker today at 11 am..the eposide was "Without A Sound" with Gage losing his hearing. The question is: what's the thing called that Gage has in the show...reading what was said..almost like a pager but something...do you know what it's called??
I would love to have that. I am totally deaf and smart, and could talk little but from time to time I get tired of writing on notepapers to communicate with people..that thing would help me out!
So please tell me what that thing is called and I will look for that product and see if I could "buy" it for myself.

They were using a modified Palm Pilot from several years ago. It was rigged up on the show to do that specifically. It was programmed to produce the text for the camera only. It would be nice to actually have that item that could recognize speech. Perhaps you should send Palm Pilot an email and put a bug in their ear.
