Full Version: Planning ahead~~ Nashville Palace New Year's Eve
Who is planning to be at Nashville Palace on New Year's Eve to see Chris? Hubby an I are tossing the idea about taking the long ride. We would love to be there. Is anyone else planning on going? Any more info about this event??
Terri and I will be there!!! We aren't working though - just partying.....

I'm seriously trying to plan to be there - as a Christmas present to me lol It's only a 7-8 hr drive, so it's not that bad. I think that would be an AWESOME time!
Working on figuring out how to get there. Blackout dates at work suck... who needs to work anyways?

Well, in all fairness, I work at home and set my hours, my "boss" is really flexible about letting me take time off whenever I want.
A number of us are going to be there. Barb is checking into advance ticket sales, but NP hadn't even planned that far in advance when she called a couple of weeks ago. We haven't made hotel reservations yet. Ask the same question on myspace and you may get more answers.
Dang FS if you and Rick go, along with a bunch of other people it would be danged tempting! I'd have to get working on the $$$ but it sure would be fun!
hey firestarter, i started this thread about 3 weeks ago in general and it died off. yes, victoria and i are going to be there. i have called 3 times in 3 weeks and they still don't know how much tickets are. so you've just reminded me to call again.

BidDaddy - we are working on a ticket sale date, but they are thinking it will be a couple of weeks yet. I'll post it here as soon as they go on sale - PROMISE!!! Can't wait to see you both again.
We found a hotel nearby (walking distance) for $69.00/night. I won't tell where because I haven't made my own reservations yet. LOL, but I'll post that along with the info on the tickets....

I've been seriously thinking about making the 10 hour drive for this one... this is tempting me more....

And I'd pick Chris over work anyday, it's just the CVS doesn't seem to understand that. I can't figure out what their problem is...
I'd LOVE to go...might still be recovering from the cruise though..lol. We'll see what happens closer.
As far as I know there is an age restriction of 21 and up unless you are with a parent. I called to ask, just a heads up... And I don't know how strictly they enforce that rule...

I'm dying and plotting and planning but I know it will never work. I got a little one and that's way to close to Christmas. Santa gets all the credit but we pay all the bills dang that Santa

Ummmmm, seriously??? I don't think I've ever seen either one of you somewhere that Chris was performing and NOT be working! That will be fun for you both.
I'm planning on being there and may be bringing a Michigan friend along for the ride. Need to buy those tickets, as well as the Broadway Meets Country tickets too. Are the NYE tickets on sale now?

Meri, tix aren't on sale quite yet. I WILL be working part of that night if we decide Chris needs a meet and greet. I can't tell my boss "no"...lol. I love my job so it's okay. BHarris will NOT be working that night. Can I buy you a drink that night?

You'll get a lot of replies to this one - it was a post-show ritual during Nashville Star, and we closed the place down after the finale. It was also the venue for Chris hometown concert during the show.
