i love this show, really hope they dont extend it on for a seven year stretch kind of thing, as much as i dont want to see it end would like the closure.
Alot of interesting posts on what will be my thoughts were on maya saying in first season that Kyle was the answer to it all, I hope they dont deviate from that. As well, Colliers death, isabelle and what her role is as well as all the roles of the 4400. And yeah, would really like to see the woman in the yellow hat appear in one of those episodes)

I was thinking it would have to go on for another couple of seasons like it is now, before they would have to give some kind of closure to the first premise while simultaneously building up a new premise or direction so that once they did give the answers, there's a whole other premise that needs to be unfolded. I* don't want to see it end, but I don't think this one original premise could stretch out for 7 years, so they need clossure for the questions we already have while gradually building a new direction for the show once the questions are answered. I've seen a few shows do it successfully. Like maybe after the questions of their purpose here and now are answered, give each of the 4400 something they need to do in the future helping the good future people who first changed them or something like that. I wouldn't mind seeing an alien race enter the picture somewhere. Aliens HAVE to be involved one way or another when dealing with the future! Just as we start to get some closure, introduce some aliens!

Good point. We can't stretch this one premise out indefinitely without some resolution. There are still lots of other returnees out there, we don't know what kind of gifts they came back with, so I can see the show focusing more outside the little circle it currently revolves around. That's not to say I don't want to keep the main cast, I'm sure they can be worked in somehow, but I think we really need to see more of the others.
