Hi Bubba here, I know we have a question about this for Vincent, I thought it would be neat to have one for her. Do you think she is pretty? I think so.

Hi Bubba here, what is everyone favorite episode that she has appeared in?
My favorite Kathryn/Eames episode has to be "In the Wee Small Hours," which is probably also the fave for most of her fans. She has wonderful moments throughout the series, whether expressing an opinion strongly (The Third Horseman: "You're going to have to do better than that, Bobby!"), making pithy comments ("No, the trouble with men is that they talk too much"), or tossing off a wonderfully bad pun ("fangs for the memories" -- ouch!). She's also adept at working in an acting partnership that contrasts the usually cool, grounded Eames with Vincent's intense and often over-the-edge Goren.
Plus, she is really lovely.
And while we're on the subject, there are plenty of fan and screencap sites dedicated to VDO and Goren, but did you know that there is at least one for Kathryn? In addition to screencaps from CI, http://www.strangevisitor.org/has screencaps and info about her from other TV, movies, etc.

me too! i'm not sure which epi it's fom but my favourite line that she said was right after Bobby had said some strange fact about the case and the captin gave them a weird look

I really like the "perky" short look too, but the loner hair seems to fit her more serious mood this season.
Hi Bubba here, I agree with you Blind Spot is a favorite. I like her with short hair but, you can't go wrong with long hair either. I like Kate, also I will see if I can find some trivia on her later.

Kathryn is drop dead beautiful per se but, she is quite lovely.

It's hard to pick a fave eppy for Kate since she never gets as much screen time as Vincent(who does? but that may be changing...). But she does get a lot of good moments and even complete scenes. One of my favorites is in Season Three (can't remember the exact eppy) Eames, clearly pregnant, is questioning a possible witness and he doesn't want to talk to her. She starts to leave, then reels, sits down in a chair, and says, "Whoa, did somebody turn up the heat?" The guy becomes concerned and brings her some water. After some small talk, she asks her question again. He's still reluctant, but, seeing her as a nice pregnant lady now, not just an annoying detective, he answers her questions anyway. It's nice to see that Goren isn't the only one who can use his personal life to connect with someone and get information.
She did have a major role to play in "Blind Spot," but I hope she gets to do more than react to being a victim (although she did it really well). When does she get to rescue Goren?
oh i saw that pi it was a good one i thought she was really clever and when Goren comes in after and realizes she got something out of the guy the look on his face is priceless!

yes...shes sexy as hell...she just keeps getting better and better with each season!! as for my favvy episode its a toughy because she is great..before i wuda said in the wee hours or w.e but now its gonna have to be blindspot...she was brilliant in it...i think its about she time she some credit for her talent!

I think that people don't notice her as much because her character isn't as, what's a good word?...atention grabbing as VDO's. It's not that she isn't a good actress, but her character just doesn't stand out as much. I think that more and more people are starting to notice Eames though.

I agree completely. She is a brilliant actress and she has to do a lot to keep up with him. I hope she starts to get the credit she deserves. *sighs* I heart KE
As a women I find Kathryn in her portrayal as Eames attractive. I find her not acting as if she were in a beauty contest, but an attractive and effecient woman in her looks. I like the fact that Eames does not wear jewelry or much make-up and does fairly simple clothing. It does not detract from her work or her credibility as a detective.
So do I find her "hot"? No I think it would it would be frivolous to call her that and I don't think she'd very much approve either!

I, personally, love her attitude. I, myself, find myslef attracted to her AMAZING sarcasm and witty puns. That's what I think.

Ya know, I 'noticed' her in the early seasons...but since season 5, I think she has become more awesome. Not only in her acting, but her looks. I can't wait to see her in season 7, not only in her looks, but also in her acting.

I've seen posts that said if VDO would leave LOCI, there would be no LOCI. Frankly, I think that if VDO stayed and KE left, the series would probably end. Neither could be replaced by anyone else; because of the relationship/chemistry they have "crafted" between their characters over 6 seasons.
well she always has a coat on so no I don't think she is hot. Probably a little cold.
Considering how much TV people like to fill their shows with the ultra-hot babe-of-the-moment, I love KE.
She's sexy without being in your face. You have to pay attention to see it, it's not "OMG look at the hottie!"
I think it helps bring out her character since you're not overwhelmed in the visual dept while you're trying to listen to the words.
In other words, it's not just looks, it's a total package.

Amen, I remember once in Jr High, this guy walks in the room, I thought wow, he is hot, until he started to talk and I saw how he acted, wow what a turn off, his attitude and actions were. As Judge Judy says, Beauty fades, Dumb is forever.

I think Eames is extremey cute! Not a knock out though, IMO. I'm sure guys thinks she is, but, I'm not in that catagory, sorry, but a great actress!!

I understand Krodgers, not being attracted to women, its hard to say, wow that chick is hot, lol.

Exactly! lol! I have said that if VDO leaves, there really won't be CI, but i also think that it would be VERY INCREDIBLY hard to replace Eames, you MIGHT be able to do it, but if you could, you might also be able to replace VDO. I don't think you could keep one and not the other, i think you'd have to replace them both, and to be honest, that's not CI.

they're both alpha male types so I don't think that would work out to well!

lol the updated information says she's been divorced since 2005 so like wow
she's been staying out of the limelight. I really do like that. I hate reading all those tabloids on their personal lives.

Like in 'Suite Sorrow' when she's undercover waiting to get her Botox shot and the woman next to her says, 'My god, I'd kill to have your skin. What do you use?' And she says, 'Just soap and water". Not many actresses would have been able to pull that off. We would have been like, 'yeah right. You use more than just soap!' But not KE. She's just beautiful.

Similar to the French actress Genevieve Bujold.
She's not often vulnerable on the show---but if you recall any of the scenes where she is "undercover" you can see her shift from demure wife to tough cop and it's amazing.
Bill Clinton may have ruined this line but---I feel her pain (watching her act).
I also like that she can be sarcastic.
But there's a sweetness/vulnerability below the surface that's very appealing.
She seems so down-to-earth in interviews----her family is very important to her and she's not obsessed with the spotlight----very appealing.
Watch "Rich in Love" from 1993, it's an excellent movie----a starring vehicle for Kathryn (alongside the great Albert Finney, not to mention Piper Laurie and Jill Clayburgh) and she gives a bravura performance.
