And FYI for anyone waiting on "pins and needles" for autographs, be patient I sent my letter to Tony in early September and got it back on February 14 (I had actually forgotten about it )

Ok, thanks. Well it's nice that he doesn't just send a "mug shot" and I like the fact he writes messages to people. There are no pictures from Monk on the UK ebay, so I'm going to send my CD case cover and ask him to sign that as well as ask for an autographed photo. Do you think that's greedy? Because I always ask for a dedication to me (so he knows I'm not going to sell it) but I also like to have something a little bit different signed as well.

The envelope doesn't have to be that exact size. I asked the admin about that and I was told any size is okay. The one I sent had Monk ads in it--they measured 17" by 14", so the envelope was even a little bigger!

Are they currently filming this summer's episodes? I ask because I'm wondering which of the two addresses on page one would get a quicker response (i.e., if they're not currently filming and thus not on the Paramount lot every day, then I would think a request sent to Tony's agency would get to him quicker).

I am French (so I hope you will excuse me for my approximative english ) and I would really like to receive signed photos from the cast of Monk (all five of them in fact lol) but I am having some difficulties with the USPS website someone posted earlier. It would be great, if it is possible, if one of you could tell me how much stamps I have to put on the reply enveloppe to be sure it will come back (I can get US stamps as someone I know is coming back from the US next week). Help!!! Did anyone that's ever rec'd an autographed picture of Tony request it from his manager or the Paramount Studios address at 5555 Melrose Ave, Bldg 213 Ste 360 in Los Angeles ? I sent in a request last August for my 12 year daughter and she's never rec'd one. I don't know if we sent it wrong or what happened. I'd like to request again, but I want to know where you can actually get one. I'm a huge fan of Tony myself , and I might just request it for me.

You need 1,80 $ USA stamps for a Din-A4 envelope (21 cm x 29,7 cm). I think it could be a little larger or smaller too

Hey this is really wierd? I sent Tony a request for an autograph and the address was valid......It sent it back to me saying that the address did not exist? And i check the address on the envelope and on here and matched them up like 10 times and then 2 months later is say's the address does not exist? Can anyone help me out here? And it came back saying Return to Address which means the address was and is valid. And the one from to Jason Gray- Stanford has not come back yet so i am asuming that address is correct. So far i am waiting for a new adress to send one to Tony again..........

11 by 14 is outside. Take another 11 by 14 on inside and fold it in half then the letter can go in the 11 by 14 outside one too.

Oh dear, the address of Tony's management from page 1 here is invalid? Can somebody tell me another, valid (!), adress?
I am living in Europe and it was kind of tricky to get US stamps. But now I have some and want to use them - but of course don't want them to come back. So please, can somebody tell me the correct autograph address of Tony, and if there is any time frame in which you must send him a request (for example because he is abroad another time or so)?

Perhaps Webmaster knows anything new?

And maybe some of my European fellows can give me some advices of how I can get my autograph. Pleease? (How big has to be the envelope in DIN, for example?)

I got my autographed picture back from Tony a few weeks ago. I had neglected to write any return address on the envelope that was to be sent to me. However someone (Tony?) wrote a return address on it, and this was the one he wrote:

The envelope doesn't have to be padded, but it's a good idea, IMO. Got to protect those photos/signatures, after all!
11 by 14 is fine to send, one of the ones that I sent was that size. I even asked the admin before I sent it, to be sure, and I did get the official okay.

Yeah, I used that size, then to sent those in another one, boy the postage alone makes me anxious to get those autographs.

I know, I had the same problem. Finally I went to the post office and they had padded large envelopes that were that large. I had to BUY four of them to send off my request.

The envelopes do NOT have to be a specific size! Anything is okay. I've asked the admin about this. 9x12, 11x14, it's all good.

If you're asking if the actor actually reads the letter, I'm not positively sure. I do know that when I sent my letter to Tony (which I wish I would have kept a copy so that I could've re-read it and hoped I didn't sound too stupid), it was around September and told him that my birthday was in late August and that it would make a great belated gift, blahblahblah. When I got my picture on Valentine's Day, it was not only autographed, but it was also personalized. He wrote my name and a message (you can see it below), which proved to me that he actually read my letter!! I would doubt that he would read EVERY ONE because he is terribly busy, but, knowing how he seems so nice and down-to-earth, it wouldn't surprise me if he did read every one he got. I'm not sure if the others do this or not.

BTW: I had a P.S. about the Green Bay Packers, saying I was a big Vikings fan, so I was REALLY surprised I got anything back. Hopefully he got a good laugh out of it

I'm not sure about buying US stamps, but I can answer your other questions.

2) Yes, they'll put their own picture in and sign it. Unless if there is a picture you have that you absolutely would want to have signed, then include it. I didn't include a picture with my letter.

3) Yes, it's the same address for all the actors on Monk. You just have to be sure to put his/her name in it. This is the address I used so I assume it's still accurate:

I just wanted to let everyone know that my autographed picture of Tony just came in the mail. As I am sure all of you were, I am so excited a can hardly contain myself. I have only screamed a couple of times...LOL, no seriously, I did! I am convinced he read my letter. In my letter, I wrote to him I talked about how small I write. I then added a written portion, so he could see exactly how small I actually write. On my picture, he writes: "Wow!! Yes, you do write small! I Love that in a woman..." I am so far above "Cloud 9" it isn't even funny. This has been one of the best months I have ever had!! I received an email from Senator Ted Kennedy last week(history buff) and now, my autographed Tony picture. I have to be careful, I might strike oil!!! I am SO Excited!!!!!
