hey I have a question about autographs: do you have a send a photo for them to autograph, or do they provide one?
Want2bearhugTony
Jul 24 2007, 09:32 PM
No, you don't have to send your own photo, those are provided. But some people have a special photo they want autographed so it's cool to send your own too. Just make sure the postage and correct envelopes are there and all should be good. Good luck!

Hi Rach and welcome on the board. I have Tony Shalhoub's autograph and I come from Poland...On first page of this topic admin wrote what international fans must do to get autograph or autographs...I had lucky (thanks to metacomet)
Addresses are on 1st page...

Here is updated info for receiving autographed photos from the Monk cast.
All autograph requests must include a self-addressed 11x13 envelope with proper U.S. postage. International fans must use US postage on their envelope and not international postage coupons. All requests that do not include the proper return
envelopes and postage will be discarded. Please allow at least 6-8 weeks.
You can also write to Tony Shalhoub through his management at this address:

Well, I'm not new here, I think you know me

. My problem is that I still haven't got an autograph of Tony.
My question is how much stamps do I need to get my letter back from the USA to Poland...
I mean is it more than 1 $, or less. I'm asking, 'cause I've a possibility to buy some stamps in the Internet (on allegro.pl = it's sth like ebay). I need a concrete! This is very important for me. So if you're not sure, please... do not reply! It would be great if somebody could even check it at the post office.
I know that all of you here are very nice, so I expect a fast and helful reply.
Thanks in advance.

According to the US Post Office site, a letter from USA to Poland costs 90 cents (10 cents less than a dollar). This letter must weigh 1 ounce or less.

THIS IS A QUESTION FOR ADMIN PLEASE.
I live in England and would really love to send in for an autograph of Tony Shalhoub, as I LOVE the show. Please can you help me by telling me how I can get the correct postage and get it sent over to the US as I can't buy American stamps over here. I've been trying to get someone to help me for quite a while now and I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me what to do to be able to send a SAE.
Thank you

Hi!
I´m from Germany and I´m new here.
So, my biggest wish is, to get an autograph of Tony!!
I´ve heard of the problems with the US stamps you must send from Germany.
So my question is: Is there anybody who can send me the US stamps, so that I can send a letter to Tony for my autograph, please ???? Of course, I will pay for it!!
Another question: Is the autograph adress on the first side still up to date?
Thank you so much for any answers!

Well, with the questions please help I'm answering: You should get from somewhere the U.S stamps 'cause I know the first time when I sent the envelope with self addressed envelope to Tony Shalhoub I sent the self addressed envelope with international stamp and they don't provide the U.S stamps. You must to send them self addressed envelope already with the U.S stamps on her.

I have a question to those who live in USA.
I'm planning to send to Traylor Howard and Ted Levine letters. I would send letters in envelopes with Polish stamps. The envelopes with the autographs must to have U.S stamps. And I have a problem.
Does stamps without numbers on them
(like this one here) ($0.41) would be good as stamp on the envelope in which would be send to me an autograph?
And does 0.10$ more (4x 0,41$ and 1x 0,26 $ stamps = 1,90 $) from all stamps on the envelope would do something or it wouldn't be a problem with sending it back to me?
If you don't understand what I mean tell me and please for quick answer as it possible.

Okay so you have to send a stamp in the envolope too so that they may send it back right?
So if i am right you need a stamp on the envolope to send the letter and a stamp in the envolope so that they may mail it back.
And i am not sure what size the envolope is but is it one of those brownish tan ones? i think it is it seems big enought. A self-address and is that it?

Hey there guys
I'm new to the forum, and when I saw this topic I had to post.
I'm from England and I would love to get an autograph from Tony and the other cast members. I know you've probably gone through this a million times, but could someone help me as to how I can go about sending a letter for an autograph to the US?
Usually when I've sent letters (within the UK) I send the postage stamps the recipient will need to send me a photo (I tend not to send SAE's in case the envelope is too large or too small for the picture they send me), so is there anything similar I can do for people in the US?
I don't intend sending my own photo to be signed, I don't know if that will make things easier.
Thanks in advance!

Well, I would suggest having a contact in the US send in the request for you and then when they get it, send it on to you.
This worked in reverse for me when I wanted something from the UK. It's much easier for someone in the country of the desired item to deal with the postal niceties.

Now that said, I had a duce of a time finding an envelope to match the required one (13 x 15) and it cost me $3.50 US at the post office, then I had to get stamps for it which was $1.50 and put it into another envelope with a letter requesting the autograph, another $2+ to send it all in. After all that, I can only hope that by August I'll have my very own.

Thank you everybody for your support.

BTW, the message on the second one is not unimportant for the
