I am just curious, but how are all these autograph requests handled? Since MONK is watcehd by millions of folks, I imagine the stack of requests for autographs is high as well. The cast can't possibly have the time or inclination to read all the mail they get. Do you have a staff memeber that helps sort through all the mail and requests and letters? Just wondering.......

I'm looking for an address to write Stanley Kammel and one to write to the producers of "Monk". In previous posts, I see that the studio was supposed to have been relocating. I have Tony Shalhoub's address, but I would love to write to Stanley and the producers as well.

ok. so im new at this letter sending stuff, and im worried that i wont get an a reply from tony! i still have hope because february 18th marks the 6th week of when my letter got sent out, and since i live in PA it'll obviously take 6-8 weeks to get here. but this is what i did. i wrote a letter and put it in a big envelope; big enough to hold a paper sized picture in it. then i put 2 stamps inside, too. i wrote his address on the front and put mine on the top left corner to return it to. did i need to have 2 envelopes, one being self addressed? did i need anything other than stamps for him to return it? am i just too excited so im being impatient and i shouldnt worry at all? somebody please help me out!

Hey there Shanny, how are ya? Ya, when writing to the cast and requesting a pic you're supposed to send a 9X12(or something like that) self addressed stamped envelope inside another envelope. Sorry to be the bearer of kinda bad news But hey, at least he'll get your letter right? And who knows, since you sent stamps and it is an office and Tony is one of the top 10 nicest people in the multiverse(i just know it!!!) perhaps they'll send your picture regardless of the missing envelope. thanks for your optimism! i need some of that because maybe a week after i sent it out i read somewhere that you need 2 envelopes...darn it! well, i do agree with you that he is of the top ten nicest people in the uni(or multi)verse, which is definitely a positive lol. well maybe ill give it until 10 weeks and then if i get nothing, ill just have to try again. its definitely worth the wait though! =) thanks again!

i think the only way you could have that is if you tivo'd it, taped it, or bought it. im not positive though, there might be a different way to get it. you could always buy the episode on itunes its only like $1.99!

I have a ittle problem now, because I send a letter to Tony Shalhoub, but I send it with international postage coupon. The fact is that women on post told me that we don't have your postage stamps and this international postage cuopon is the only way to send a letter and that is the only way they can answer me. She said that on US post they'll replace the coupon on a postage stamp. She didn't mention anything about US postage on envelope. Or she didn't know, or she just was new...anyway...Poczta Polska is cooperating with USPS.
What the hell I suppouse to do now? Send it again? or just pray that with this cuopon it was true

What do you think about this? It might work.

Put the item in a small box, but don't seal the box. Put your home address on it. This is the box that Tony will mail back to you..

Take it to the post office and have it weighed, and have the proper postage put on it. I think you'll have to tell them that it will be going from California to you. Bring the box back home with you, and put it, unsealed, into a larger box. Seal that one up, and address it to Tony's new address. Then take that one back to the post office for weighing and postage, and then...mail it!

Try to make it so that all Tony has to do is put the item back into the smaller box that is addressed to you, and tape it up. Maybe even provide the tape?? I would want to make it as easy as possible for him to deal with.

Providing a little note to tell him what's what in the package might be a good idea too. Hope this helps!

I sent the proper envelopes with correct postage and a kind fan/i love you letter but nothing...sigh. Should i just try again or go on with my belief that my letter was too blount with feelings and give up? I really don't get why i got no reply. Congrats 2 those who did.

ok, listen to me verry carefully: try again. keep trying until you cant try anymore!! i sent my letter out the first time, waited 10 weeks, and never got a reply. i sent it wrong which was probably the reason, but i tried again. i waited 10 more weeks, and no reply again. i even sent it right the second time. I TRIED AGAIN and waited, expecting it to be 6-8 weeks, but on the 8th day i got it...how did i know it was from the third time i sent it? the first 2 times i sent a normal 8x11 envelope, and the third time i sent a padded 9x12 and thats the one i got back. it was damaged but hey it was definitely worth it! so i waited 23 weeks to get the reply, and it finally happened. JUST HAVE FAITH!
