Anywhere from Birmingham south! Let's see..Panama City (the beaches here have been voted the best in Fla!), Pensacola, Heck, I'd even be happy with Dothan or Mobile Ala! lol Even Tallahassee!
I'd pick either the Ryman or the Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville. He would have a LOT of fan peeps there and it would be convenient for the suits! I would LOVE it if it was here in south Florida but that won't happen. Gotta be realistic here.

I'd have to say either the Nashville Palace or the Wildhorse.

With a name like that, we deserve it!
I am not sure, but it is possible that it is Chris Young's name in the Nipmuc language.
Please note that the name starts with a "C", and ends with a "g".

Is Chris going to be there? Is anyone invited? Can it be at a place with no age restrictions? Will it be day or night or evening or all of the above?

Silverado's would be a blast, plus those folks turned out in FORCE for the shows and are still turning out for local events. Perhaps we could convince Chris to take Dot for a spin on the floor, then we could convince Chris to give us all dance lessons, then we could convince Chris to dance with all of us, and then we could watch Chris dance on his own....this is going to be a multi-day event, correct? LOL
Country Monkey would be great because there's a ton of parking that isn't too expensive, still close to downtown, and it's a big place.
Nashville Palace would be fun too since that was the scene of several after show gatherings, the hometown concert, and the post win unofficial victory party, plus it has free parking.
Just a few thoughts

I agree with littlechick!! Columbia, SC, is the perfect place! We could have it at the Skyline Club or at Saddle Ridge where they dance on the bar. Yeehaw!!

You're right Pammy! There are a lot of us from 2000 who live in Florida and would love it if the party was here! Maybe the RoundUp in Davie? GREAT place for a show AND a party! And why couldn't we have THREE release parties!!?? Or considering how big this party might end up being, why not Joe Robbie Stadium!

Sep 11 2006, 04:49 PM
We could always have it at Bristol Motor Speedway Now THAT would hold some people.

I'd say his hometown would be the appropriate venue - maybe Stampede, The Wagon Wheel, or even Pardners?
If not there, then the Palace would be a great alternate choice.
The Gibson Showcase is another possibility.

Terri has news coming really soon - hopefully today - on having your OWN CD release party and for fan club members, a chance to win a phone call from Chris at your party!
