Maya said to Alana that Maya, etc would be back, but that Alana would not be there.

OK so the future gave her to Tom and the future took her away? Took her away perhaps for a chat and she'll be returned? Or the future thought Tom needed her for the difficult events of this past season, and even though things are getting more difficult, took her away now?

Thoughts?

Maia also said Jordan would die, which is usually a permanent condition. Jordan did die, but he got better. I'm thinking whatever Maia saw is not the whole story and Alana will surely be back.

Also, Alana saw Jordan's visions. Possibly the futures needed to correct that little fact. Is she too dangerous with that knowledge? Rock..I agree. She will be back as she is a 4400 protector as well as an aid to Tom.

Yes, I agree that Alana will be back. It will be interesting to see how Tom reacts to her disappearance. I'm guessing they will do a 'six months later' type time lapse before the next season, so I'm expecting to see a weather-beaten Tom who had to deal with Alana's disappearance alone. I wonder if he'll take another indefinite leave of absence (like he with Kyle) to try and find her. Tom won't know that it was the future who took her so he'll probably go mad trying to find her. Awww, poor Tom, I hope he's okay!

I'm not so sure she will be back. I think she may have been sent back to allow Collier to regain his memories, she has the only ability we have seen so far that is capable of recovering memories. She made a comment to Tom about how she didn't know how Collier could walk around with those images in his head and remain sane. He may have been conditioned so he could mentaly cope with the horrors that he saw, he saw them gradually as they progressed through time Alana saw them in one great jumbled mess I'm not so sure she could remain sane. As much as I love her character and would love her to come back, maybe she was removed for her own good?

I agree that Alana will probably be returned at some later time.(I hope so) Maybe there is truth in the idea that the evill pftf want to know what things Jordan has been shown by the pftf, and have taken Alana for that purpose. Maybe there is some desire to wipe out her memory. It will be interesting to see if and how Alana is returned.

I also think that when Maia and Diana (and probably Ben too . . .) come back, she won't be there, but then she will be returned shortly after. I hope so!
