Hi, I know this has probably been asked a million times. I asked on the old board but unfortunately got no reply, so here it is again. Can anyone help me out in a copy obtaining of the unaired pilot? 'cause I was late in purchasing season 1 DVD and now all I have to show for that empty space is a blank mail-away card, that would've been no use anyways as I live in the UK.

please email me (johnatcollege@hotmail.com) if you can help

Hm..check Ebay..

Yup - probably your best bet would be Ebay. Some of us that bought early and sent in never saw ours either. There was also a number posted on the old board (you'd have to search for it) to call. I called and left several messages with all my contact info - never heard back.

Best of luck, and let us know how it turns out!!!

Yeah, ebay's probably the best place to get hold of this. However, the only copies on e-bay are "custom" discs aka bootlegs/copies, which to be honest is fine by me. I'm not after an original to fill the space just want to see the unaired pilot. The problem I have is that with a starting price £12.00 I think it's a bit much for what is basically no more than a £0.50 DVD-R. Sorry if I sound like I'm whining.

Thanks for reading.

Hi everyone! :-)

I'd just like to add that I have watched that unaired pilot, which I bought from eBay. The overall quality of the product for a custom DVD, interactive menus, deleted and re-shot scenes from the pilot, T.V. spots not available either on the final aired pilot DVD or first season set, and commentary were all worth the final purchase price. It was fun watching Michael Moriarty's and Kendall Cross' performances simply due to getting another layer, perhaps an alternate layer than what Mr. Stiers and Ms.(?)/Mrs.(?) Dalton brought to the final pilot and series, to the Gene and Dana characters. Really enjoyable. Thanks for reading! :-)
