Yeah watch The Dead Zone season finale. Nothing interesting will happen on the Emmys, if you care about them just look on the internet afterwards and you'll see who won. We need to make the ratings be really solid tonight up against the Emmys, so maybe they will renew it.

I'll be watching DZ for sure. But before DZ starts I'll probably watch the Emmys since nothing else on.
The only reason I would check out the Emmys is for 24 and all their nominations.
I think USA is aware of the Emmys though, so even if DZ does drop in the ratings tonight, I'm sure they might expect that. Since the whole season has had solid ratings I don't think tonight will determine if DZ comes back or not.

I'll definitely be watching DZ. I'm a big channel flipper on commercials, so this is one time that I'm glad DZ has such long breaks in between acts.
I agree too, go Tony Shalhoub!
Kiefer, Gregory Itzin, and all of "24" had better get sometihng this year!! But I'm particularly wanting Gregory Itzin. He was wonderful!

Well, I for one will be parked in front of the tube watching DZ. I don't watch block-buster movies nor awards shows unless there is someone I want to watch win an award or someone I want to watch.
Though I'm just abit upset that the series or anyone on the series is not up for an award. They so deserve it!

But AMH was on the red carpet!! Did he get on any of the shows? Maybe they'll re-run the red carpet stuff on TV Guide Channel or E!? Did anyone catch Jennifer Finnigan in a pic at Wireimage with AMH and Corring?!!

I did catch that pic, it was taken yesterday at the Pre-Emmy party. But at least he's out and about being seen. I was watching the red carpet arrivals on E! and thought I saw them arrive in a back ground shot but the camera never got back around so I could be sure of what I saw. But E! will repeat the red carpet arrivals over the next few days so maybe I will be able to catch it then.
They look happy and so cute!

One of the rare times I caught this show. Not bad! Is the senator from Maine like Johnny as an 'anti-Johnny' or just plain power hungry? I thought I read this show was coming to an end, true?

Congressman Stillson is pretty much Johnny's archnemesis in the series. Johnny's destiny is to stop him from causing total destruction after he becomes president. So he's trying to hault his path to power, but to no avail thus far. if anything, things are getting more difficult for Johnny as new forces begin to arrive to help get Stillson to the White House (ala Janus).
This show is not dead. The producers remain optimistic and are already looking forward to a sixth season. We're just waiting on USA to give us the green light.
