He tells us all how much he loved being on the show and how nice he thought all the judges were and how amazed he is that they ALL only had nice things to say to everyone even that nice Anna-nasty errr Anastasia. That's what he said or something like that anyway.
Then he tells them to cut off all the lights and proudly shows off his shirt which glows in the dark. And he says "My Mom got it for me" in this adorable little boy voice and everyone is laughing again. And he's so friggin sweet and innocent looking and sounding it's no dang wonder I pegged him as the baby boy of the bunch!
He sang "Great Balls of Fire" which was the song where I first became a Casey fan on the show. I know most everyone loves "How Great Thou Art" which got a standing ovation but I like Casey best when he's singing Jerry Lee or his original which he also did.
At the end when we were in line we were close to the back and by then most people had left. It had gotten quiet. And someone yells out "It sure got quiet in here". There was a group at the table and I couldn't see him but I told my husband that it was Casey that said it. He has such a sweet southern accent. I just love it!
When we got to the table my husband and his stupid shirt took all Casey's attention lmao. I started talking to Chris and dang it I forgot to ask Casey to sign my pic to me. He signed it and gave it to my husband but I didn't get the "to Katy" part on there. And I really didn't get to talk to him. I wish I could have cause the boy cracks me up. Ya feel kinda rushed though cause of the line behind ya.
Anyway Casey is a doll. And with out a single doubt he brings the humor and good ole country boy charm to the tour.
