Hey, guys, over at livejournal.com we've got this cool community called dz100, where a new challenge is posted every week and people write drabbles to them. A drabble, as defined to the community, is a piece between 100 and 500 words.

I just found this community, and sadly it seems like we are lacking in active members! I know we've got a ton of talented people on this board, so I wanted to extend my invitations to you to try your hand at a drabble. You don't need an LJ account to do this. Simply click on the link, take a look at the rules, and give it your best shot!

This week's theme is "remorse". To totally ruin a famous slogan . . . What Would You Write?

We've played similar games on this board -- er, the old board, usually during the off season.

One of my favorites: somebody starts a story, and people take turns writing it. The best ones have been the ones that people volunteer for ahead of time and whoever threw out the idea, assigns the writers in order. This gives everybody a good idea of where they fall in the order of the story (developing plot vs. wrapping it up). We've had some really good stories, and a couple of hilarious ones that went off in all different directions.

Oh, the story games and lightning games! Such good times reading those! I'm no good at the writing part, but they sure were fun to follow!

In fact, since USA still hasn't transferred anything over here from the old boards, the story games deserve a thread here. I don't want them to be lost!

I distinctly remember digging through old posts to get everything semi-organised from those stories, so if I can find that thread again on the old board I'm going to copy and paste them all on this one! Woohoo I'm on a mission (from God)
