I have it figured out for Netscape 7.2, but we upgraded to Netscape 8.0 the other day, and I can't find cookie settings anywhere on it.

I wrote the admin of the board and asked them to post a notice on the old board. Had it not been for your post & CT's post about the new USA JAG page I'd have never found this.

Ya know, you might set up a thread telling our "old" & "new" "strangers" how to get set up in order to join in. USA says everything transfers, but that wasn't true for me.

I have already introduced myself on another topic but I'll do it again. My real name is Margaret and I have watched JAG since late season 6 but it wasn't really until S8 that I got into it. (BTW, S8 is my absolute favorite season)! Some of my favorite epppys are "A Tangled Webb Pt. I" and "Each Of Us Angels." It's really nice to meet y'all! LOL. You guys seem like a great bunch of people and we're all interested in the same thing: JAG!!!

Thanks, utahjagfan. Nice to know there is one more person on the board who uses a Mac! They are great machines, but it is sometimes interesting to live in Mac World when most everybody seems to be in PC Universe. I usually use Safari but also have Internet Explorer for special purposes.

Since the message from USA (first post on new board) said the display names and old posts would be transferred to the new one, I was kind of hoping to see if I could reset cookies and get myself on as my old identity and membership status. I might be better off to leave well enough alone and be a "stranger" called Ninja_Girl for a while instead of "member" Ninja Girl! I suspect you moved over with little problem if you are at "enthusiast" status. But I would like to know where to find and how to work on cookies anyway, if you could help me with this Mac knowledge.

You might even be helping some other poor soul like myself yesterday as I sat hopelessly reading posts from everybody who somehow got over to the new board intact. Texas Brat was my first clue that cookies may be the problem.

Okay onto the Mac. Tell me what Internet Browser you are using.

Internet browser is Safari at the moment, often it's Internet Explorer. Take your pick and I'll follow.

Okay for Safari go to the menu bar. Where you see "Safari". Click on it.
Go down to "Prefereces". When you click on it a manu will come up.
On the top look for "Security". Click. On the bottom there will be a button that
says "Show Cookies". Click. There are all of your cookies.

For Internet Explorer do the same thing "Preferences".
Now scroll down the side for "Cookies" There they are.

Hi All!!!!!!! I am the old commonurse, and this board actualy accepted my old name and password!!!!!!
I am a Baby Boomer--class of 65--who has been hooked on watching JAG and posting on the old USA bboard for several years I am a nurse. I did time in the military--13 total years--and my sons are in the army and army reserve[he came back from Kosovo]. One is a medic---I proudly call him a colleague---and the other is an officer---1st Lt---in Military Intelligence. His civilian job is with Defense Intelligence Agency, so he is sort of like Clayton Webb---ha ha ha I am also a breast cancer survivor of 10+ years, but yesterday's scan came back bad, so I am going to again have to undergo chemotherapy........... for the ruddy 5th bloody frelling time!!!!!!!!! To have it 5 times has got to be some kind of frelling record, don't cha think?!?!?!? talk about pissed off....

Well, how surprised I am to see the new board format. The old board seemed fine to me. Why do they have to change something that's working fine??!! It seems that I am still Jayhawker from Kansas City. I was glad to watch Valor today. We all need to encourage USA to air more JAG eps. It would be such a nice gift if they could start with season 1 and air the eps straight through the seasons.

Old Man fan!!! You're back!!!!! I loooove your virtual JAG stories! They are really great. IMHO, you should start posting virtual JAG stories soon! (As in ASAP) sorry... I am just addicted to them and can't live w/o them for much longer!!! Don't worry about what USA says they will do. It doesn't mean that they will actually go through with it. (I mean look at the JAG schedules lately. They have NEVER shown JAG when they said that they would). Also, a side note to Shadow Dancer, I'm really sorry about your breast cancer. Please let me know if there is anything I can do even though I don't really know you. I hope everything turns out okay for you. I will keep you in my prayers.
