I dunno... I highly doubt anyone will be "enjoying life" anymore.

I know it's "just a story", but people who have been proven innocent by DNA tests (i.e., "The Innocence Project") have still waited in prison a few months before they can be released. The wheels of justice just don't turn that fast. And if anyone walked up to a judge and started making demands - the way they did in tonight's episode - would find themselves in jail real quick.

But I too am glad Kyle was released, I just wish it hadn't been so hokey. (by the way, those accused of the crimes Kyle pled to would be in federal prison, not state prison. But that's just a technicality).

What I want to know is....wasn't it being said that the actor who played Kyle got off the show? Was that after this episode or is he not really gone?

I thought whatever contract issue there was going on was what delayed Chad Faust (Kyle)'s appearance til now.

Maia's diary does say that Tom will be abandoned again. This may mean that Kyle will be written off the show yet again. I'm not sure of the circumstances surrounding Chad Faust and the reasons why he wasn't a regular this season so if anyone knows please enlighten us. It's probably that he wasn't offered enough money but who knows. I just hope they bring him back as a regular for next season, however, Maia's diary entry makes me skeptical.
It's strange how Tom and Kyle's relationship always gets interrupted. First the coma, then he gets possessed by the Future People in season 1. Season 2, they were just starting to get close when Kyle is possessedinto killing Jordan Collier and then turns himself in. Season 3, he's been in jail. Something tells me that there will be yet more obstacles in this father-son relationship. Perhaps even before the end of this season.

ahhh, but is he back or was it a one time thing?

if Tom is to be abandoned, maybe it will be Alana and not Kyle? It's hard to say at this time, because, Tom looked so happy w both of them last night, unless one or both get killed off, hmmmmmmmm
