Did anyone else notice the absence of kids other than Maia on Highland Beach and in the original quarantine...and now there's a whole school of them? lol. Maia was the only one left in quarantine in season 1...there were no other kids left there. She was sitting in the empty room by herself.

Well there were plenty of people we didn't see than we are now just meeting I don't think they had enough time to give everybody face time and besides being introduced to new characters we've never seen before is kinda cool but yeah at first i thought that Maia was the only child abducted!

yea same here. at first i forgot that there could have been others who were taken later and were still kids...like maia's friend amy who was taken in '93 i think. i know at first they couldn't show everybody...but they should've tried for a few more kids i think...even if they were just extras. =/ cause like you said i got the illusion she was the only kid taken.

I know a few child extra's couldn't hurt at least we'd know it wasn't just maia

They were smart about how they added some. All the other kids were taken recent enough to have family left to go to. And the addition of Maia having a baby sister was added later for future drama.

That did work out well but then that got me wondering if there were some that were taken sometime in the vicinity of Maia with their own sad then happy stories

There were children in quarantine. I remember seeing two children chasing each other (possibly the Germane siblings). Plus there were 4400 people, so just because we didn't see them doesn't mean they weren't there.

Yeah we know they were there but what i'm saying is it would have been nice to see that there was a higher number than they left us to guesstimate because it seems that if there was enought for a school there'd have to be plenty to go around

actually there are two young boys playing cards at a table with two older guys and then the girls running/ chasing each other. Plus the room shown in quarentine shows about 100 people and they say at that point tehre are 4400...another thought is are there some babies going to come out of returnees? They would only be 1 or 2 but they would be special right?
