Since the 4400 are no longer on the inhibitor does that mean that every 4400 has and abilityand if so does each have their own and maybe there is one person for one posible first generation ability or is their a dominate sbility among the others any one wish to comment?

Without the inhibitor, each 4400 has an ability. As of yet, each ability appears to be unique, and some appear to be outright freakish (i.e. the guy with the fish-like gills).

I read on another thread speculation that it depended on how one's neurons responded to the Promicin, perhaps enhancing something that was present, but dormant. Sometimes it causes the brain to deform the body, more often than not, it amplifies what would have been present to some small extent anyway. I think this is a likely truth.

Ok so if certain people share certain traits they may get the same ability

sounds plausible to me! I highly doubt that there are 4,400 different unique abilities, I'm sure some returnee's share certain abilities, what do you guys think?

I tend to agree with you. Since the returnees can be killed (with a few exceptions), it would make sense that the PFTF would want to cover their bases.
However, since these people were 'hand picked', perhaps they all do have a unique purpose and therefore a unique ability.

good point and 4400 being a nice round number and different abilities popping up everyday that would make sense
