Did anyone else notice that one of the detectives at the murder scene was Scotty Ferguson, and among the onlookers across the street from the murder scene was Madeline Elster? Or should I say Judy Barton dressed as Madeline Elster?

So am I the only person who saw VERTIGO references in this episode. A San Francisco Police Detective retired on disability pension because of mental problems, becomes obsessed by a woman who in actuality is an imposter who had been hired to imitate a dead woman. I thought it was a great episode. The main difference being that Adrian was not fooled by the false Trudy, whereas Scotty Ferguson (James Stewart) was completely taken in by the false Madeline. By the way, Barbara Bel Geddes who played Midge in Vertifo just passed away this month.

I hope the writers can keep up to this standard. Just imagin Adrian and Natalie trying to escape across Mt. Rushmore or Adrian trying to grasp the hand of Trudy's killer from the Statue of Liberty's crown.
