We are obsessed Monk watchers and were gravely disappointed when Sharona left. We've been trying to contact USA to see if we can start a "Come Back Sharona" campaign. Then we realized that maybe if enough people on the message boards wanted her back, they might consider it. So what do you guys think?

Well, at least they started spelling "Sharona" correctly. Lessee, that's -- 100 points, according to the score card...
What would it take to bring Sharona back?
1.) If all of the writers and producers suffer irreparable brain damage on the same day?
2.) If Traylor Howard becomes a prima donna, can't remember her lines, and fails to show up for shootings "just to make a point?"*
3.) If the world starts to spin Clock-wise as seen from the North Pole?
4.) If they need someone to play a B-actress with no talent?*
5.) If pigs could fly? (Memo: Buy a larger umbrella)
*AIMTITNPW, of course...

What do I think? I think you've already seen USA Network's response to the myriad of "Bring Back Bitty/Sharona" petitions and message boatd posts made here, there and everywhere! I'm not really sorry at all to break the news to you but, so far, USA Network's reaction is to keep on producing "Monk" with Traylor Howard and not Bitty Schram; with Natalie and not Sharona.

Consider it? Maybe. Have you considered that the Network may have already considered the idea and rejected it?

I don't know if we'll ever get Sharona back entirely. Maybe somewhere down the road she would come back as a guest appearance. It would definitely make for an interesting episode. It would have to involve some sort of subtle competition between Sharona and Natalie. Also Monk would be at a different stage in his life. Having been without Sharona, Monk has worked with Natalie and formed a different relationship. Sure he and Sharona will always have their connection but it wouldn't work out the same as he's been working with Natalie. I would like to see Sharona again just to see what would happen.
