What's with Natalie's new look? She looks different. What happened?

Looks like she grew her hair out.

I like that. Long hair looks really hot on a woman.

Ummm ... I mean, it emphasizes her brains, yeah, that's what I meant. And I meant that in the least lecherous possible way.

Natalie looked really pretty! I like her longer hair, and the skirt and blue top looked very good! I hope she'll still wear her blue jeans occasionally though!

I guess we got a bit too use to Natalie with that short haircut which made her look younger, cuter, and perky... The longer hair seems to make her look older, more conservative, and, well, wiser... In "The Actor" she did seem to have a shorter fuse (than usual) for situations such as Monk and Dave Raskin (Stanley Tucci) practicing the "It's a gift...and a curse..." line over and over--and she seemed very distrustful of Raskin, esp because he'd had two or three breakdowns in the past. As a side note, near the end of the episode, when Monk was telling Dr. Koger that the "Killer Astronaut" movie was canceled because David Raskin didn't want to play "such a dark character," and so was now in England playing "Hamlet," it was a laugh riot (talk about dark and mentally ill characters and Hamlet comes right to mind)!!

I can't get anything cuz New Jersey is still closed. You can't play the lottery, go to the state parks or beaches, or atlantic city. I couldn't even see Monk. The new season started already and I didn't even know it.

I agree, she did seem to be not as patient with Adrian in this episode. I just commented in the thread about this episode that I wished she had been more concerned and less exasperated when Adrian showed up at her door in the middle of the night. He really needed her support and understanding then. She did okay but I wanted more concern shown there.

Conversation last night watching thwe show:

Mom: Is...does...is Natalie's hair different?
Me: Yeah. It used to be shorter, kind of a pixie cut. Now she's gone all Farrah Fawcett.

I wondered how ape poopy people would get about the style, if people were going to compare it to Sharona's hair, etc etc.

I like the long hair also..she looks great either way. But...since I have hair to the middle of my back..I like longer hair right now. Weird? of course...lol

She's no Sharona but she looks good. I prefer long hair... with curls

Personally, I prefer the way she looked in the 4th season, but the long hair doesn't bother me.

I like her longer hair a lot more than before.

I've been watching MONK ever since the first episode and while I liked Sharona, I was never crazy about her. Then Natalie came along (with her less annoying offspring) and I liked her, too, but was never that impressed by her. But after watching this season's opener---Wow. She looks really great. I do think it's the longer, more sensual hair and the fact that maybe the producer's wanted to up the "sexy" side of Natalie. I mean, she looked really great in the episode! I hope they keep her longer hair and her newer attitude towards Monk. I mean think about it: if you worked for or around someone like Monk all the time, wouldn't it eventually wear on you, too?
