Ok so..... you know we all go through changes and specially with our looks and diferent styles. When svu first came on I noticed Mariska's hair was a dark red/burgundy and then she had it short and then she dyed it lighter. After that as time went by it grew and I really think that the longer her hair got the younger she looked. She is just 2 beautiful. Now Diane Neal(Novak) when she first came on SVU her hair just made her seem annoying and the red color was fine but the style and cut weren't right. I love how now she looks sexy with longer hair and how she colored it blonde. In my opinion these women just get better and better. Don't u guys agree? They just look so much hotter

I agree!! Also when Alex first came her hair was like right under her chin (I wasn't a big fan of it being that short_ and then it grew longer and I thought it looked sooooo cute!! And then when she came back for "Ghost" I thought she looked the best she'd ever looked!

I remember an interview I watched where it said, they died Diane's hair so people wouldn't associate her character as "Alex" and they have slowly been dying it back to her natural blonde.

They didn't have to dye her hair so viewers wouldnt associate casey with alex. It's just that, Casey will never be alex blonde hair or not.

o yeah! i hated it curly!! and i hated her in the first episodes too i thought she was so annoying. adn then she kinda grew up and stopped showing up at the crime scenes. lol but i like her...

i didnt like it curly..just not sooo staight...and i agree...i hated her showing up on the crime scense...she was really annoying and mean...but olivia and elliot werent to nice to her either..but that was her own fault
but as the show went on she got coollol...i like her now
