Tonight epsiode might be my last because they are messing it up. I almost cried when Maia was begging not to forget Diana. I am not even sure I will watch it next week or ever again. I have no idea what the writters where thinkin . They turn a good show and began it well but then turn it into a mess. The only point of me watching it was because it was about 4400 that where abducted and taken to the future and sent back to help and that was interesting to me. The show was not about ping ponging people/kids through diffrent timelines. Anyhow hope everyone else liked it because I didn't

No, it's not what the show is about. It's about people from the future messing with the past. They did it once at the beginning, and now they're doing it again. Accept it. Perhaps it's a different faction of PFTF though. It's a story, and the writers know that people are very touchy when it comes to children and family. They aren't going to let the characters suffer forever. At least watch Part II next week. I bet you there will be a happy ending withe Maia and Diana. As well as with the rest of the children.

Don't worry Tronix---you aren't alone. The more they try to be original, the more they are just copying other storylines from other movies, shows and whatever. They better get it together or they will lose most of us all soon.

One scene bothered me. It's where Tom is all upset about the kidnapping of the children and being unable to find clues where they are and his wife asked him whether she wanted her to take him on a vision to relax. Yes I get it. You have powers.
Heck, if someone tried to distract me while I needed all the evidence fresh in my head so that I could run through it until I figure out a correlation, I'd be pretty annoyed with them. The last thing that Tom needed to do was escape.
Alana could have asked him if he wanted to enter an alternate universe so that he could possibly see clues that he missed before, but she didn't.

Cast me out as the "black sheep" since I overly enjoyed this episode.
Okay on a scale of 1-10 I am rating this episode a 10+!!!!
Here's my review:
- Okay so the opening was good. Poor Tom- having to feel so out of place at that gathering.
- Cool. I was able to catch Jacqueline's Aussy accent slip in. (when she was talking to Maia in the parking garage)
-Interesting seeing Maia's sister. Somehow I had a feeling her name would be Sara. Oh man though, I thought I would be okay with Maia's younger sister being her older sister but yet it shocked me.
-Okay this episode is sweet! Right when Sara showed up at Amy's house to get Maia, I knew something wasn't right. I am on the edge of my seat (7:20)
-Tom's life just seems to be taking wrong turns now. It's understandable as to why he doesn't want Alana working at the Center. He's jealous. How cute!
- The scenes with Isabelle were sweet. Love how she has that power over Matthew. Although now I'm starting to worry about Isabelle because now she seem's kind of a baddie.
- Okay now things are starting to get freaky (7:30) So Sara has a collection of 4400 children. How twisted is this lady? And what is the deal with Matthew? I still can't figure that guy out. Now he wants Richard to be Shawn's equal partner.
- I really feel for Diana. She is going through so much right now. And I love her connection with Maia. It's evident that she has an unconditional love for that child (getting sick was proof of that). It's a good thing she has Marco [and Tom] to support her through it.
- Very funny how Marco found out how he was going to die from Maia's journals and he fount it to be interesting.
- So glad to find out what the "I'll be in the circle with Tyler Downing" meant. (the circle created by Dian's coffee cup.)
- Oh man! Oh man! Oh man! Oh Man!!! Talk about a wicked turn. Never was I expected that Sarah was from the future! Oh man! And then seeing that Maia [and the other kids] had actually been taken back to the future (so to speak). And then seeing those butterflies at the front gate that were in Maia's journals was cool.
- That water ability that those kids had was so sweet! And draining the water out of the people was a very cool touch (seeing as how humans are 70% water).
- The ending; I'm still in denile about that. Those humans miscalculated?! I thought they were supposed to be very far in advance in the future. And Maia is being erased from our time slot, I began to cry when Sara told her what would happen: how Maia would forget her mom, how she would forget Marco and her friends and everything in this life. And then seeing Maia's stuff being erased from our present just made me cry more.
-Gotta hand it to the cast and crew of the 4400. They really out did themselves with this episode. Way to go!!!

I just wasn't that thrilled of the outcome this time, I hope it's better next week. I also hope the writers never have a cliffhanger like that again .

Cliffhangers that get me THIS emotionally invested are my FAVORITE. Nothing can beat an episode that pulls on my heartstrings.

Thank you, srjeffreys for acknowledging that last night's episode was not complete crap. Although this means nothing to anyone, I really liked it. I especially liked that we finally seemed to move forward with more reasoning behind the 4400's existence.
For everybody slamming the writing, and the "new direction of the show," please calm down. Last night's episode was in keeping with the first two seasons, particularly the first I think. Richard and Sean are power-sharing now? Fantastic! That is certain to lead to good times. Isabelle is slowly becoming power-crazed, and not so slowly becoming a sex kitten? Awesome! I always believed she was evil. And Maia's been kidnapped with the potential for her character to be completely forgotten? Most excellent!! And yeah, I would be bummed if Maia were gone, but since I don't see that happening, I can sit back, relax and enjoy the plot twist without getting my knickers in a bunch. Now all I need is for the big J.C. to finally return, and I will be a 100% goner for season 3.

Well it wasn't totally bad but why did they send maia back before that even took her? SHe can only see the future all that people will do is studdy her and find out where she came from, where she has been and why she can see the future exactly how does that help?

I LOVED that episode. It really made me mad for it being a cliff hanger and all and the point i'm not going to be here next sunday. Noooo! Evil.
Think about last summer, it had a bad episode when everything just fell apart and it thought it would change the episode forever and it did. The sickness? It's going to be better. It is always better from the last two seasons of the show. It's going to get ten times worse over time and then slowly start to steady out and get better. Don't worry, everything is going to be fine

well , the bad part I hated was
1 - Maia begging not to send her back before she was even born
2 - making everyone forget Maia
3 - that she got away with it I hope Diana and her have a hand to hand fight MWHAHAHAHAHAHAH
but i keep thinking about this the writers, producers, and whoever else watches the show being recorded or being edited may laugh at out IDEA's and say WRONG , WRONG, ALMOST CORRECT but no lol

Well, overall I liked the show. I agree if they don't put Maia back with Diana that would be bad. Very bad. But this was part 1. We knew it was called Gone Part 1 going into it. Hold your bashing until part 2 airs.

here is what I thought of the episode
At first I was torn between thinking that there were two sets of future people, one working to prevent the disaster and the other working to let the future unfold as it is suppose too. After this episode I'm not so sure. I think there is just one set working to prevent the disaster but its like the butterfly theory. You know where a butterfly flaps its wings in central park and in Toyoko it rains. Basically sending back 4400 people to a specific point in time didn't prevent the disaster because there was too much that could go wrong so now the future is sending individual people back to specific points in time to help prevent the disaster. I'm working on the belief that the future will send Maia back to when ever to accomplish a task and then seed her back into the "normal" time so it was like she never left.
Reminds me a lot of that ST:voyager episode Year of Hell, one change will significantly alter the time line, although I have to point out we havn't seen the effects of Maia disappearing yet. With her gone, would Tom and Diana have discovered the promicin inhibitor? Would Mommy's bosses be punished for betraying them? I would hope that the writing is tight enough to put some of that info into the next episode but I'm not expecting it since there is only so much time in a television hour.
This brings up another interesting point. If they are able to take people and alter the time line in such a way so that they were never returned with the 4400, we know that is what happened with Maia. How many other people did they do this too and we just don't know about? It also brings back the possibility of the return of Lily in the future. All they have to do is take her from a different point in time without making Isabelle disappear. I think the show has established that time isn't linear but fluid and can be changed at will.
Which brings me to my next point, Isabelle. She really started coming into her own in this episode. I thought there was important foreshadowing in this episode into what will become of Isabelle. When she was talking to Shawn in bed, she was like, you want me to make you leader? I can do things. I think that statement will be the pyschological divide between the 4400's, those that think just because they can do something, they should regardless of the consequences and those like Shawn that think because they have the abilities they need to help people. But it was nice to see Isabelle standing up for herself aganist Mathew.
One thing I didn't like about this episode was that they whimpified Shawn. It was a serious power move by Mathew to bring Richard into a power sharing agreement with Shawn but I felt Shawn rolled over too quickly. On one hand I can see their point, Shawn is a 19 year old kid and he needs some guidence, he has made mistakes. But to the world Shawn is the 4400, the one that heals everyone. Shawn could have played that card and said look, its either my way or the highway and there wasn't much Richard or Mathew could have done about it. Although I will say that this story line is a good way to keep Richard involved so that is a plus.
I am really interested in finding out more about Mathew. He said it himself that he came onboard 6 months before Jordan was killed but did he really? I mean he showed up right after Jordan's death just saying he was here to help from a different 4400 center. I'm really looking forward to finding out about Mathew Ross

I liked this one. I was happy that Isabelle discovered that she doesn't have to be afraid & do what Matthew tells her to, "I'll do my OWN shopping from now on." YEAH! I didn't think she acted "power crazed". I thought she just proved her point to Matthew- killing him would have been power crazed! I think she offered to help Sean keep his job because she really loves him.
Now the Maia thing... I didn't enjoy that part at all, but my theory is that Maia is going to come back, as an older Maia. I think she's meant to face off against Isabelle down the line. I think they may even be twisted enough to want us to dislike Isabelle & like Maia & then have it play out that Isabelle is good & Maia is not... but that's just my theory...
