When I say 'small' mistake, I mean it, though. In the beginning, Johnny says that Alex took a 1938 buffalo nickel from his desk. In scene in the kitchen with Bruce, Johnny looks at the nickel and the year says 1937. Then at the end when Johnny puts the nickel on Alex's grave, it has reverted back to a 1938 nickel. Just one of those weird things I noticed.

Well Dead Zone is one for making mistakes like that. They don't think that people are that observant. Like i was rewatching season 2's Cabin Pressure and JOhnny had to have a second vision to find out what time the plane crashed. He had to freeze his vision and walk around until he found a watch. What is odd about that is taht during the scene and the whole eppy actually he's wearing a watch himself. Coudn't he just check his own watch. Then again i guess maybe he coudn't check his actually but couldn't he have cheecked purdy's who was sitting beside him. Weird right?

Checking his own watch or Purdy's during the 'live action' of the scene would not have given the answer. He was in the present and the crash was in the future. He had to find someone wearing a watch that was actually 'in the moment' of the crash.
